Story
Meet Fiona Princess, the all-black cat with a heart of gold. This friendly feline is not only great with kids but also loves to socialize with humans. She is still young and learning to be a kitty in her foster home as she was born and raised outdoors fending for herself with her siblings. When it comes to dogs, Fiona Princess is a bit cautious with big dogs but is unbothered with small dogs. She will thrive as the only cat in the home but has been making friends in her foster home lately, so very slow introduction is a must if you have other cats. She is a laid back couch potato that prefers to lounge around. With her sleek black fur and charming personality, Fiona Princess is sure to capture your heart with her affectionate and chill demeanor. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Juvia can be very shy. It took some time for her to get used to me when I first got her in 2020, but she was young in a new place. She does love pets, but on her terms. Otherwise she'll walk away from you. She will eat dry or canned food. Treats she's a bit fickle with. I've learned to put them in her food bowl and she might eat it then. She loves toys with strings or feathers on the end of a stick or a laser pointer. Very mellow and to herself, but when she wants attention she lets you know. She'll walk up to you and start tapping on your arm to give her attention. In terms of other animals, she's relatively fine with dogs, no issues there. She's lived with her sister(cat) the whole time. So cats are fine. No interactions with kids to note. Scared of new people, so she will hide, but in time is fine. She's not fond of being carried. She has used claws to get out of arms without wanting to harm you, only thing I can think of as a caution. Hoping to find a someone who can love her tons.

Story
Buddy is a 13 year old Silver Tabby American Shorthair. We have had him since a kitten and he is a lover boy. He loves to cuddle, nap in the sun, purr loud and proud, eat, and to sleep as close as possible to his humans. Our living arrangements have changed and we sadly won't be able to take him with us. Buddy is used to living with 2 dogs. He does not do well with other cats. We recently had his senior kitty vet check up and other than missing several teeth (dental procedure 2 years ago), and kitty arthritis, he is very healthy.
