Story
Bruce is ready to join you in whatever you are doing! Folding laundry? He will happily supervise. Relaxing on the couch? Ta-da, you magically have a sleek little black shadow curled up beside you. At just three months old, Bruce already has the kind of confident, affectionate personality that makes life with a cat feel wonderful. His foster describes him as social, playful, and endlessly companionable, and after spending just a few minutes with him, it's easy to understand why. Before you read another word, go watch Bruce on YouTube, then come right back. It's the best way to meet him. You'll get to see him bouncing around with all the joyful confidence a kitten should have, while his foster shares more about what makes him so special. Watching Bruce play is enough to brighten anyone's day, and we all love the undeniable magic of a bright-eyed black cat. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a357aba1f4b6c16440bab45 Estimated to be around 3 months old, Bruce is being lovingly fostered in a home where he's growing up alongside other cats and two giant Great Danes, both of whom he absolutely adores. He takes everything in stride, greeting new experiences with curiosity instead of hesitation. Whether he's racing after a toy, following his people from room to room, or confidently making friends with dogs many times his size, Bruce approaches life with an easy confidence that makes him an incredibly fun kitten to have around. His playful nature is balanced by a wonderfully affectionate heart. Bruce genuinely enjoys being part of the action, not because he demands attention, but because he simply loves being close to his people. He has that delightful "little shadow" quality, happily accompanying you through the day before settling in for cuddles when the adventures are over. His sleek black coat only adds to his charm, giving him the look of a tiny panther while his personality remains completely approachable, sweet, and full of joy. He's the kind of kitten who would thrive in many different homes, whether joining another playful pet or becoming the center of someone's world. Raised in a loving foster home with excellent socialization, Bruce is already proving himself to be confident, adaptable, and ready for whatever comes next. If you've been hoping for a kitten who is equal parts playful companion, loyal sidekick, and affectionate best friend, Bruce is just the one you've been waiting for. Story
Soup has appointed herself manager of absolutely everything, despite weighing only about three pounds. Every toy belongs to her. Every room deserves an inspection. Every new experience is approached with the confidence of someone who assumes she can handle it. She's wonderfully bold, endlessly curious, and carries herself like the tiny CEO of the household. If there's an adventure happening, Soup has already arrived and is making executive decisions! You can watch Soup in action at this link here, then come right back to read more! You'll quickly understand why her personality is so much bigger than her tiny body. Estimated to be around 2 months old, Soup weighs approximately 3 lbs and sports a sleek, all-black coat that somehow makes her look even more serious while she's busy conquering the world. As with all rescue animals, her age is our best educated guess! Living with Soup means embracing kittenhood in all its wonderfully chaotic glory. She wakes up ready to play, explore, climb, investigate, and repeat the process all over again. Wand toys are easily among her favorites, especially if they flutter through the air just out of reach. Noisy toys earn her immediate approval too, and she'll happily entertain herself as long as there's something interesting to chase or pounce on. Soup isn't the kind of kitten who assumes every new person is immediately part of her fan club. She likes a little time to observe unfamiliar faces before deciding they're worth getting to know. Once she's comfortable, though, her personality shines through, and you'll discover an intelligent, entertaining little companion who's full of opinions and never far from the action. She can take some time to warm up to new faces. With a little time, and it won’t take long to see her come out of her shell! She's also an excellent eater and happily enjoys both wet and dry food twice a day. Like many kittens her age, she's still settling into a more predictable sleep routine, and each week she's becoming a little more consistent. Soup has been doing wonderfully with crate training as well. It isn't where she'd choose to spend her afternoon, but she settles nicely and handles it with impressive maturity for such a young kitten. She’s currently been kept separate from the resident Goldendoodle, but has shown significant interest in him and does well when introduced! Nothing about dogs seems particularly intimidating to this confident little kitten. Soup has been comfortable around both men and women and hasn't shown a preference for either. She hasn't had the opportunity to spend time with young children yet, so we'd recommend thoughtful introductions with kids who understand that kittens, especially confident ones like Soup, appreciate gentle handling and respect for their space. Because she's such an active, spirited kitten, Soup will be happiest with a family that's excited to embrace everything that comes with raising one. She'll benefit from plenty of interactive play, enrichment, patience, and consistency as she continues growing and learning. In return, you'll get a hilarious little companion whose confidence, curiosity, and constant commentary make every day a little more entertaining! If you're looking for a kitten with a big personality, an even bigger sense of adventure, and enough determination to keep you smiling, Soup just might be ready to take charge of your home! Story
Alfred is the definition of a happy little kitten. He is around 3 months old and is currently in that absolutely adorable stage where everything in life is exciting, fun, and worth pouncing on. He is tiny, goofy, playful, affectionate, and completely full of personality. The world is basically one giant playground to him, and he is determined to explore every inch of it with maximum enthusiasm. This sweet boy spends his days running around with endless kitten energy, batting toys across the floor, chasing his siblings, and doing dramatic little sneak attacks before bouncing away proudly like he accomplished something huge. Watching him play is genuinely hilarious because he throws his whole tiny body into everything he does. He has the cutest little zoomies and loves launching himself at toys twice his size with complete confidence. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/h9Ua1swgE2I?si=-KPw231HD246zM4q But underneath all that silliness is a very loving little kitten who absolutely adores people. Alfred is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to his humans. He loves pets, attention, and curling up beside you once he finally tires himself out from all his adventures. He has such a sweet face and gentle nature, and he gives off the kind of warmth that instantly makes you feel attached to him. He is also extremely curious and smart. He wants to know what you are doing at all times and will happily “help” with everything, whether that means climbing into your lap, investigating bags, chasing moving feet, or sitting right in the middle of whatever task you are trying to complete. He is the perfect mix of playful chaos and loving companion. Alfred would thrive in a home that understands kittens need lots of enrichment, playtime, patience, and love while they grow. He would love another playful cat friend or a family ready to spend lots of time interacting with him. He is still very young and discovering the world, and every day with him feels fun and full of life. He has the kind of personality that makes people fall in love fast. He is sweet without being shy, playful without being wild, and cuddly without ever losing that silly kitten charm. Alfred is truly the kind of kitten that turns a house into a happier place the second he walks into it.
