Canyon has settled into foster life beautifully and quickly made himself at home with both his humans and the resident dog. From day one, he’s been confident, playful, and eager to bond—especially with his new canine best friend. The two love playing together, sharing toys, and even eating and drinking side by side with no issues. Canyon adores squeaky toys and anything with knots. Like most young pups, he’s still learning what’s appropriate to chew, but he redirects easily and is eager to please. He loves wearing his collar and going on leash walks and has already made impressive progress with his leash manners. During the day, Canyon enjoys relaxing and napping in his crate, and he sleeps there at night as well—especially if he can see his humans nearby for reassurance. Potty training is going very well, with only a few minor accidents as he continues learning his routine. Bath time was a breeze, and Canyon handled it like a champ. He’s also starting to learn basic commands like “sit,” and he’s picking things up quickly. One of his funniest quirks is his dislike of his reflection in the oven door—it never fails to get a laugh. Canyon does have a bit of a scavenger streak, so keeping counters clear is a must unless you want a snack to mysteriously disappear. Canyon is a sweet, adaptable, and social pup who will thrive in a home ready to continue his training, provide structure, and enjoy lots of love and playtime. About Me: I love playing with my new canine best friend! We chase each other, wrestle, and have the best time together. All the toys here are so fun, especially the squeaky ones. There’s this big white water bowl in the bathroom that I guess I’m not supposed to use, but when someone forgets to close the lid, I help myself anyway. My human keeps saying the word “sit,” then gently guides my rear to the floor and gives me a treat. I’m still a little confused, but I promise I’ll keep working on it! December 28, 2025, 1:58 pm
