Story
Hi there! I’m Trace — your future best friend with a heart full of love and legs full of zoomies! I’m a young, handsome 46 lbs of lovable orange/white neutered Brittany boy who’s 2 yrs and learning that life is actually pretty great — especially when it involves snuggles, toys, and playing fetch (my fave!). I’ve come a long way since arriving at my foster home — no more cowering, no more accidents in the house, and I’m crushing my leash walks like a little champ. I’m super friendly and doing great with my foster brother Walker and our neighborhood playdates. I’d love to have another playful pup in my forever home — someone fun and energetic like me, or a chill buddy who doesn’t mind my puppy wiggles.  I need a fenced in yard to play with my new brother or sister, so we can patrol our yard together. Now, let’s be honest… I still have bursts of puppy energy and may turn your hallway into a racetrack when the zoomies hit, but hey — life’s a party! I also love to cuddle and be close to my people, though I’m still learning that “love bites” are best saved for toys (don’t worry, I’m working on it!). I’m housebroken, crate trained, not food aggressive (Walker and I even share bowls like fancy gentlemen), and I haven’t chewed anything I shouldn’t — unless you count chewing your heart with my cuteness. If you're looking for a goofy, loving, playful boy who’s already made huge strides and is only going to get better, I’m your Trace. Let’s chase balls, snuggle close, and make some tail-wagging memories together! I am utd on my vaccines, hw/tick neg and on prevention. I am a very healthy boy. The adoption fee for KS/Trace, who lives in Olathe, MO  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making KS/Trace part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com  and/or Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Trace.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.May 10, 2025, 11:19 am

Story
Axel – A Gentle Soul Searching for His Forever Hi, I’m Axel—a 4-year-old, 53 lb orange and white Brittany with a heart as big as my paws and eyes that quietly ask, “Could you be the one to love me?” Life hasn’t always been easy, but I haven’t let it dim my spirit. I’m a gentle, affectionate boy who’s simply hoping for a place to call home—a warm spot in your heart and a soft place to land. I’m healthy, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, and heartworm/tick negative. I’m ready—truly ready—to begin this next chapter with someone who will love me as much as I’ll love them. I’d adore a fenced yard to explore and chase butterflies (or maybe just the occasional squirrel), and I wouldn’t mind a friendly dog sibling or two.  I’m told I’m happy, huggable, and wonderfully sweet—all I need is someone to see the spark in me and help it shine. I am dreaming of belly rubs, kind voices, and finally belonging. If your heart says, “Yes, you are the one!” I will give you unwavering love and quiet loyalty. Story
Meet Oakley Rose – A Little Brittany with a Big Heart! Stop right there! Yes—you! Look at this face. How can you resist the adorable, freckled charm of me, Oakley Rose? I’m a petite, 2-year-old, 27-pound orange and white Brittany Spaniel, and let me tell you—I’m just as lovely on the inside as I am cute on the outside! I’m spayed, housebroken, crate trained, and up-to-date on all my vaccines. I’m also on heartworm and flea/tick prevention like a good girl. I know some basic commands and love showing off how smart I am! I’m playful, snuggly, and oh-so-sweet. My favorite things include playing chase with my foster sister Macie, going on walks, hanging out with the grandkids, and curling up in my foster dad’s recliner for the best naps ever. At night, I nestle right between my foster parents’ pillows, making sure I can touch both of them while I dream. That’s how much I love being close to my people. But—here’s the part where I need someone a little extra special: I have a condition called Canine Megaesophagus. Don’t let the big word scare you! It just means I need to eat my special food (prepared with love), upright and patiently. My foster parents will walk you through my routine, and I’ve become a total pro at it! With just a little extra attention during mealtimes, I live a happy, active, and love-filled life. What I’m Looking For: A home full of love, patience, and snuggles. A family who’s willing to help me manage my simple mealtime needs. Maybe even a furry sibling or two to romp and play with! I may need a little more care than the average pup—but I promise, the love and joy I bring will be far more than you ever imagined. I’m Oakley Rose, and I’m ready to bloom in the heart of my forever family. Could that be you? Medical Note:  Oakley has her very own Bailey Chair.  The Foster Mom will discuss everything with you in detail.  Oakley is precious and knows she is supposed to keep her head lifted.  Please don’t let this deter you from getting the best little girl ever. The adoption fee for MO/Oakley Rose, who lives in Nixa, MO  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making MO/Oakley Rose part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org . A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Oakley Rose.  Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.      June 2, 2025, 8:33 am

We rescued this dog, he was hanging around a grocery store in East, Texas. At the time we had land and a large home with no pet restrictions. We moved to the city and the house we have now has pet restrictions. This young little guy is full of energy, happy, playful and disciplined. He can be a bit hyper but just needs someone to play with him. He is house trained, he can sit and shake and is being groomed for greatness.
