Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Story
Meet Lainey— the sweet star of the “Western Singer Sisters” trio, rescued from a rural area east of Dallas and now ready to trade survival mode for the good life! At just 8 months old and 47 pounds, Lainey is already proving she’s the full package: beauty, brains, and a little bit of Pyrenees-style opinionated charm. This Great Pyrenees/Brittany mix is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and has quickly mastered the important puppy priorities: playing hard, eating enthusiastically, and napping like a professional. Lainey absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to continue teaching her the ropes. She’s happiest when she has room to stretch her legs, people around who adore her, and a comfy spot to crash after a busy day of puppy adventures. She is also kid-friendly and likely cat-friendly too (she may just need a little time to warm up to her feline friends). If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick with movie-star looks, a brilliant mind, and just enough sass to keep life entertaining, Lainey may be your perfect match. Ready to meet this natural beauty? Complete an adoption application at www.dsda.org/adopt. ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. Must have a secure fence if in a house. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2727863##

Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue  Please help me find my forever home.... I need my forever. A 55 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  August 6, 2026, 8:42 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Scooby and I am living at this lovely rescue at the moment where I’m patiently waiting for my own special human. I’m fond of walking on a leash and playing in the yard. I was living for a while with a couple who took me in from the streets, but they had to move and could not take me. I’m thankful I have a place to stay for now, but I’d really like to get into my own home with my own pack. Look deep into my soulful amber eyes and consider bringing me into the family. I will be your most loyal companion. I walk well on a leash, I can learn commands, I will follow you anywhere. I’m not a huge dog, a comfortable size, and I can adapt myself to your living situation. I get along well with my fellow canines and children. We can all play together every day! What could be better? I’m about 3yrs old, HW negative, up to date on all my vaccinations, freshly neutered, so I will be ready to go when you arrive. Please hurry. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Meet Darla, the happiest little shadow you'll ever have! This sweetheart is full of energy, overflowing with affection, and happiest when she's right by your side. Whether she's following you from room to room, asking for extra pets, or curling up for snuggles, Darla's favorite place is wherever her people are. Rescued from the Mesquite Animal Shelter, Darla has embraced foster life with enthusiasm and a whole lot of love. She's crate trained, leash trained, and pee pad trained, making her well on her way to being an amazing companion. While she enjoys toys, she'd much rather trade playtime for belly rubs and attention. One of her funniest quirks? After taking a drink, she'll happily trot over to share her soggy kisses, wet nose, wet whiskers, and all! Darla would thrive in an active home where she'll have plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and, most importantly, spend time with her family. She has shown positive signs around both cats and dogs and would likely enjoy a playful canine companion or kids to help burn off some of her puppy energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving cuddle bug who will fill your days with laughter, affection, and lots of happy tail wags, Darla can't wait to meet you. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Nori was named for the name in Hebrew meaning "Light". She was tied up to an old truck in the Rio Grande Valley .She was adopted but given away and now we have her.  She is about 2.5 years old and weighs about 25 lbs.  She is such a doll. She is a sweet, petite, very unique young dog.  She is fully grown \!  She is a mini - she kind of looks like a Mini English Coonhound perhaps?  We don't know for sure but we do know she is adorable!    She is wonderful with other dogs and children and has a happy demeanor.  She has  gentle disposition and desires to find her forever - human to follow around, cuddle and devote her love to for the rest of her life  Nori knows basic commands like sit and lie down, and also knows simple phrases such as "want to go potty?". "Want a bone?" She is potty trained.  As with any rescue, she will need time to adopt to her new home. She loves to do zoomies and would love a playmate!  Nori can be shy when meeting new people but never, ever aggressive and warms up super quick.  She just take a few minutes to relax.    She also loves a boy thrown or a toy to play with her owner.  Her favorite activity is playing with other dogs though.  She would love doggy day care too.  She's calm and well behaved and loves car rides.  We are looking for a forever home with someone home more than not She will be good with older children instead of toddlers only because she has never been around any.   She is light heartworm positive and we are treating her.Applications to foster or adopt Nori are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##2345154##
