Story
Hi Brittany Lovers! My name is Hank and I am approximately 18 months old. When I got to NBRAN, I visited the vet and got all my vaccines and I was neutered. I am heartworm negative and I take my monthly heartworm preventatives like a good boy!  I am a very handsome male French Brittany, if I do say so myself. Actually, everyone that meets me says I am very handsome! At 30 lbs., I am a little guy.  I can be very shy, but I can also be very loving. One thing for sure, I don’t like you touching my feet!  Because, I had lived my life in a kennel with a concrete floor, I did not play or walk in the grass much.  That makes going to the potty on the grass confusing for me.  I was only allowed to relieve myself on the concrete.  I am very smart, but sometimes habits can be hard to break, and house training has not been easy for me.  I would love a home with a housetrained doggie friend that would help me learn the ropes, but I am proud to say that I have done so well on my housetraining, I might not need another dog to show me the ropes.  I have never been around cats, but I don’t think I would like them very much! My foster family loves me but wants me to have a family of my very own.  I am still fixated with rolling in things that don’t smell so good, but my foster mom has worked with me, and I am getting lots better.  I need a home with a fenced backyard to run in, and a doggie door would help me with housetraining, although it is not a “must have.” I am a Houdini in my collar and harness and have been known to try to get out of them (successfully) and explore. Do you think you would like me to come be part of your family? If you have patience and a loving home where I can have fenced yard, I would love to come live with you! My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me ( and other fabulous rescued Brittanys) in great condition for a fabulous new home.  You don't have to live in Tennessee, NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my furever home. Please contact Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.com  to find out more about me! Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs.  Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk.  She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day.  She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.   Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it. Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.  Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy. Bella is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200 ($150.00 for a senior).  If you are interested in making Bella a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  Please realize all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis.   September 2, 2026, 10:34 am

***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 9/19/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. These fantastic, unique Catahoula Leopard Dog mix pups, born 7/10/2026, came to us as a Stop the Cycle litter (we spay mama at our expense when the pups are weaned, and return her to her family). Mama Zena (last photo) definitely has a big dose of Catahoula with possibly some Australian Cattle Dog influence, and the suspected papa has some German Shorthaired Pointer in the mix... these pups are true LeMutte puppies, we would love to see a DNA profile from one (or more) of the adopters! The litter includes (along with their weights as of 8/24): CHOPPER: male, black & white 12.4# BIGGEST OVERALL CHEER: female, brown & white (blue eyes) 9.6# FAITH: female, grey & white (blue eyes) 7.7# SMALLEST OVERALL CHARITY: female, black & white 10.9# CANOODLE: male, grey/black/white, white blaze 10.9# TENDERHEART: male, brown/grey/white, lots of white on chest, white blaze 11.9# DULCET: female, grey/white with dark ears, wide blaze (blue eyes) 9.1# GUARDIAN: male, grey/black/white, lots of black L front leg, black patch over L eye 11.7# PATIENCE: female, brownish grey/black/white, black R front leg, thin white blaze (blue eyes) 9.7# While it's impossible to perfectly predict adult weights on mixed breed pups, we can guesstimate that this bunch will end up between 60# - 90# so would be considered LARGE dogs, with most being in the 70-85# range Although you will notice a few of them napping during their video shoot (no, we don't force them to wake up and perform on our schedule, lol), DO NOT BE FOOLED! These will be fun, active, high energy family dogs who will love being on the go with you. They are young enough to adapt quickly to other pets already in the family, and are looking forward to learning everything you want to teach them. This crew will be ready to join their new families on 9/16/26 (or any day after that). Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $185 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
