Story
Echo is a 2-year old Brittany who is a true puppy at heart.  He is a very loving boy who likes to cuddle and gets very silly when he is excited.  He is also very good on walks. Echo needs a home with very patient and dog-savvy people because he came from a rough situation.  He is still learning how to be on his best behavior, with his foster family working with him on potty and kennel training.  Echo appears to be afraid of the dark as he gets very anxious outside when the sun is down. He is fine inside at night and likes to sleep in his parents’ bedroom.  Echo needs a home that has someone at home most of the time due to his separation anxiety.  The ideal home would include a strong female presence as he is timid around males. Echo may need a little extra work but he is absolutely worth it, he is the sweetest boy and would make a great companion. Echo will need a home with a yard that has a 6 foot privacy fence so he can safety run zoomies and hang out in the sun.  He also needs an owner who can provide extra time and attention to his training and understands the exercise needs of a young Brittany and can take him on daily walks/runs.  Echo does great with other dogs and having a companion dog in the home is preferred as that presence would do a lot to make him feel comfortable.  Echo is also good with mature, dog-savvy children. Echo is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $400.00.  If you are interested in making Echo a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  If interested, contact Patti at 801.641.4053 after completing an application.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.  December 21, 2025, 1:26 pm

Story
Jersey is one of six in a surprise litter. She has been raised alongside her siblings and her mother(a full Brittany Spaniel) by a professional dog trainer and their staff since birth. Jersey is very polite and has excellent eye contact. Her attention to humans makes obedience training a delightful experience. She is friendly, sweet, and easy to handle. Jersey is fully vaccinated and has passed all her foundation training skills. She has the best possible behavioral start for a companion dog and is ready to form a lifelong bond with her forever family. Jersey and her littermates have been in training since they were just three days old. Their training began with temperament training to develop a calm and affectionate disposition. They then progressed to Positive Training Techniques, which helped them learn crate training, potty training, socialization, and car rides. She has been started on commands such as: come, sit, leave it, wait, look, do your business, with me, and all done.

Story
Maple is a 2.5-year-old French Brittany who packs a whole lot of charm into her perfect 25-pound frame. Her foster family lovingly calls her “Meatball,” and honestly…it fits. She’s adorable, goofy, snuggly, and absolutely devoted to her people. Maple LOVES car rides, plush toys, and curling up next to you for belly rubs. She didn’t get much freedom or enrichment in her early life and likely spent most of her time in a kennel, so she came to us needing a refresher on potty training and some basic house habits. She’s made steady progress but still needs a patient family willing to keep her routine consistent. She can be a bit curious and may check out items that aren’t technically “hers,” so keeping tempting things out of reach and offering plenty of dog-safe toys will set her up for success. Maple does well in her kennel when her people are out of the house. She may give a little protest bark at first (she just has to make sure you know she has notes), but she settles down and rests quietly once she realizes she’s safe. Maple is not a dog that can live with or closely interact with other dogs. Through training, she has made progress in calmly seeing dogs at a distance with positive reinforcement, but pushing those interactions too quickly can cause anxiety for her. For her comfort and safety, she must be an only dog, and a fenced-in yard (ideally privacy fenced) would suit her best so she can explore and enjoy the outdoors stress-free. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. Maple has mastered “sit", and is working on more tricks, but needs a little patience since she isn’t very food motivated. Maple is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Now she’s just waiting for a family who sees how special she is and can give her the structure, love, and dog-free home she deserves. Maple is currently in foster care in Wisconsin and has an adoption donation fee of $400.  If you are interested in adopting her and have been approved to adopt, let your state coordinator know you are interested in her.  If you haven’t yet done so, please go to: https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application to fill out an application.  Your state coordinator will contact you and take you through the approval process.  If your application looks like a possible fit for her, your coordinator will contact Maple’s coordinator and continue the screening process. Maple’s state coordinator is Hallie Barbara. She can be reached at Minnesotabrittany@gmail.com for questions or inquires.   Thank you for considering this sweet girl.  December 15, 2025, 9:27 am

Story
Meet Sagemoor (also known as "Sage")! This gorgeous girl was born approximately May 3, 2021 and our best guess to breed is a Brittany Spaniel possibly Border Collie mix. She was found by a Franklin County Sheriff dumped out near Columbia River Rd in Pasco WA. An amazing volunteer went to get to her. While initially hesitant, she was eventually leashed and loaded into the car heading for a new life! She has spent time at Mattox Dog Training Academy and is ready to find her forever family! Sage is a VERY active dog, if you are a runner /hiker avid outdoor person, she’s your girl. She loves to run and get her zoomies out and is very obedient - eager to please! She will take a bit to warm up to new people but her love is deep once she does. She is the absolute best cuddle buddy, the sofa is her preferred cuddle zone. Sage will do well as an only dog or with other canine companions - she seems to prefer males. Her best fit home will be one with adults or adults and kids over the age of 8, and one with a fully fenced yard. Apply for Sage at www.mikeyschance.com

Story
Coconut is the cutest black and white brit mix (primarily setter) you will ever see. She is very intelligent, athletic, loyal, and cuddly.   She is a 3 year-old and weighs 35 pounds.  She LOVES people, and is really good on her leash walks.  Coconut’s foster mom has worked on Coconut’s social skills and Coconut is quite polite and well-behaved in social settings. She even walked politely through a nursery without knocking over plants or trying to eat them.  Coconut’s foster mom has even taken Coconut to work where she either lays quietly on the floor or talks to the other employees. Coconut is a high energy girl, very birdy, and will need a home with a yard that is has a 6 ft privacy fence so she can safely run zoomies and hang out in the sun.  She is going to need a home where her people understand her exercise needs and can take her on daily walks/runs.  Coconut also loves her toys although squeakies aren’t the best since she has been known to tear out the squeaker and you would want to avoid a squeakerectomy. Coconut would do well as an only dog or would be okay with another dog who is not a bully.  She is not timid with other dogs and will check aggressive dogs, will guard, but loves to play.  Coconut can get jealous when another dog tries to get her toys or treats and will tell the other dog off.  When she is corrected she responds appropriate and immediately.  She does tend to play hard so a small dog is probably not appropriate Coconut likes to get your attention by putting your hand in her mouth.  She doesn’t bite or pull but just gently holds your hand until you respond.  A little training should be able to transfer this behavior to just nosing your hand for attention.   Coconut also loves to herd her people.  Coconut does have a hip pin from surgery required after sh was hit by a car.  Her surgery was successful and she loves to run. Coconut needs a person or family that takes her with them for most everything.  A home where someone is home most of the time would also be ideal.  She just wants to be with people and wants to go with them. She is polite and great in every setting her foster family has tested.   She would do ok with a single person that needs a companion for adventures, or with a family that takes the dog with them for adventures Coconut is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $325.00.  If you are interested in making Coconut a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. If you have questions after you have completed the adoption application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053.   Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Coconut can be adopted up to 1400 miles from her foster home to eligible adopters.December 21, 2025, 1:26 pm
