Story
Skylar is the sweetest little one-year-old female Brittany.  She loves to play with her toys and just wants to love and snuggle!  She is a VERY cuddly girl!  She is potty-trained, she loves kids, dogs, all sorts of toys and does not cause any trouble when left alone. She will sleep on the dog bed, but would rather sleep in bed with her humans.  Skylar is a small Brittany, only 26+ pounds, but she has lots of energy and will need a home with a yard that is secured with a 6 ft physical fence.  Skylar needs an active adopter or family who understands the energy level and exercise needs of a young Brittany and can provide her with the daily exercise she needs.  Obedience and manners training is also recommended. Skylar’s adoption fee is $400.  She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and microchipped. If you think you are the perfect forever home for this beautiful little girl and can give her all the time and attention she deserves, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator who will conduct a phone interview, home visit, and vet check as part of the approval process.  Once all three have been approved, we will begin the matching process.  Approved applicants will be considered only for dogs who are located within transport distance of the dog’s locale. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Skylar is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from Salt Lake City with the approved adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 milesFebruary 29, 2024, 8:38 am

Good with dogs, Good with cats,
Story
This sweet 2-year-old girl has had a pretty hard life before she came to us.  She was an outside dog and had two litters of pups.  She spent most of her time kenneled outside.  Her only friends were two cats.  Ruby is now being fostered and learning to live the good life. Ruby loves to get attention and will happily sit on your lap, or on your chair to cuddle.  She will sleep all night in her crate without any fuss, but she would rather be sleeping on a dog bed next to you.  She has now settled into her foster home and loves running and playing in her foster’s big fenced backyard with her foster brother. Ruby’s foster Brittany brother has shown her the squirrel tree and she seems very interested when Sammy Squirrel come to feed. When she is out in the yard, even when playing with her foster brother, all it takes is for Ruby’s foster dad to give a quick whistle and she comes right to him.  Ruby is a happy girl and loves to meet new people and dogs. Ruby has a lot of Brittany energy and will require a home with a yard that has a secure 6ft physical fence.  She needs an active adopter and daily exercise.  A home with another dog who loves to play  is preferred. Ruby has an undocked tail that is wagging most of the time.  She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Ruby’s adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in making Ruby a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. Ruby is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from Salt Lake City with the approved adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  February 29, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
Remi is an adorable sixteen-month-old Brittany who will be your best friend instantly. She loves everyone and all dogs she can play with.  She is good with all well-mannered children and takes treats gently from them.  She does jump up to greet people so she will need some continued training.  You will never have to go to the bathroom alone again. She is so lovable, very cuddly and loves to snuggle on the couch.  Being a Brittany, Remi loves to run and she will need a yard that is has a secure 6ft physical fence. She is very bright and eager to learn and will excel in training. She is good on walks and is a great running partner. She is very energetic and will need an active family.  Remi is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $400.00 which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making Remi a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
Reah is a very sweet, maternal, almost 3-year-old, just waiting for her furever home.  Reah has lived her entire life with her parents and two siblings so she will do best in a home with another sweet dog to play with.  While Reah is close to her mom, Juliet - and would love to be adopted with her - she is not good with other female dogs.  Reah is her foster dad’s favorite and he has been working with her training and manners.  Any adopter will be expected to continue with this training.  As with any Brittany, Reah will need daily exercise and play-time with her new family.  Because she is naturally affectionate, Reah needs a home where she will receive lots of attention.  She also needs a home with a reasonable-sized yard with a secure 6-foot physical fence.   Reah is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  She  will do fine in a home without kids, or in a home with older, responsible kids.  She will not be adopted to a home with cats.  Reah’s adoption fee is $400.00.  If you are interested in making Reah a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line application found under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.   Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reah is eligible for our canine railroad and can be transported up to 1400 miles from LA with the last leg (100) being driven by the adopterFebruary 29, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
Juliet is an adorable, affectionate, 4 year-old who has spent her whole life with her biological family.  She is currently hanging out with Peter, the dad, and their three kids - Damian, Francis, and Reah.  She loves to play and run with them.  Because she is used to being with her family, she would do best if she were adopted into a home with another dog to play with.  She either needs a member of her actual family or a male dog.  Juliet could also be adopted with her daughter Reah but otherwise does not do well with other female dogs.   Juliet will need continued training and working on her manners.  She will need daily exercise with her new family as well as lots of love, confidence-building, and attention.  She needs a home with a reasonable-sized yard with a secure 6-foot physical fence.   Juliet is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  She  will do fine in a home without kids, or in a home with older, responsible kids.  She will not be adopted to a home with cats.  Juliet’s adoption fee is $400.00.  If you are interested in making Juliet a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line application found under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.   Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. House-trained,
Story
Reggie is a Brittany-pointer mix who has energy to spare when outside and an almost unbelievable off-switch in the home.  Indeed, Reggie is a sweet, loving lap dog in a large body.    Reggie needs a home where he can live indoors with the family and be showered with love. Reggie needs a home with a large yard and a secure, 6-foot high fence so he can safely run and hunt squirrels.  He is a great running companion and would do best in a home where he would be able to run with his owner every day.  Preference will be given to adopters with sporting dog experience who understand the energy needs and running tendencies of these dogs.  Reggie also needs a home where the owner/s either work from home or are retired.  He has been through a lot in his life and he has some separation anxiety and is currently on Prozac for his SA. It is clear Reggie came from a home where he was badly abused and that history has left him with a few reactive behaviors.  While he does well on leased walks, he does not respond well when being led or grabbed by the collar.  He also will periodically cower if you try to step over him or he is surprised.  He does not get aggressive but freezes with fear.  This behavior is slowly disappearing as his foster family works with him and builds his confidence.  Because of his abuse history, Reggie needs a very patient family that can help to continue to build his confidence.  Reggie will only be adopted to a home with no children.  Because Reggie is anxious about where he sits in the pack he will do best as the only dog in his new home although he does do well at doggy daycare playing with other dogs.  Reggie is UTD on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee will be $350 to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If interested in making Reggie a member of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.NBRAN.org (under the Adopt tab).   Once your application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reggie is eligible for our canine railroad and can be transported up to 1400 miles from LA with the last leg (100) being driven by the adopter.   February 29, 2024, 8:38 am
