Grumble is a Brussels Griffon/Shih Tzu mix at around 1.5 years old and weighs around 9.5 pounds. He is a bundle of love ready to share his love with his forever family. This happy boy needs a bit of time and patience to come out of his shell. He is learning to adjust to new environments, but it just takes him a little bit of time. Grumble does well with other dogs and children age 12 and over but he has not been introduced to a cat while in rescue. He has a medium energy level and walks well on a leash. All is needed is suitable weather and Grumble will be ready to join you on walks around the neighborhood and beyond. He is a very smart little guy. He is currently in the process of being house and crate trained. We are sure he will master both skills in no time. Grumble will be happiest in a home that can provide him with daily exercise, continued training and lots of exposure to different environments and people. He is sure to be a popular boy with family and friends. Grumble is ready to leave footprints on your heart. The adoption fee for Grumble is $500. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION BOBCAT is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE We ship our dogs with Rescue Road Trips or Mighty Mutt Transport This sweet little 9 month old pup as of May 2023 was found injured on a construction site,he was unable to stand on one of his back legs , he was taken to a vet for x rays and then to our local city animal shelter, we rescued him and took him right away to our Orthopedic Surgeon , It was determined that he had a chronic fracture and torn Acl and some other leg issues and that it would be difficult to stabilize the leg as it probably wouldn’t hold for very long , so the decision was made to amputate the leg. Being a back leg he has adapted very well and loves to run around d the yard with his rescues buddies He is approx 13 lbs and looks like a border terrier/ Brussels griffin mix, but we really have no idea of his true breed mix He is a very sweet little boy, a little timid and shy but loves people, he is quiet and well behaved , he is not fully house trained , but will run out to the yard with his buddies and is learning fast , he needs a little more leash training and does better in a harness He gets along with the other dogs except he does have some food aggression and needs to be fed separately He would like a fully fenced in and secure yard and would do well as an only dog or with buddies HE IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS,WE SHIP OUR DOGS WITH RESCUE ROAD TRIPS and MIGHTY MUTTS TRANSPORT TO THE NORTH EAST OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW.
