Story
Roxy is a chihuahua in another dogs body. Sadly she was returned to us because the owners were having a new baby and they didn't think she could handle the excitement that comes with it. We are kinda mad about it but they probably weren't wrong. She is loving, loyal dog who bonds strongly with her owners. She listens well, enjoys cuddling, and is very treat-motivated. She can be territorial and wary of unfamiliar people. She is sensitive to loud or sudden noises and may become anxious with sounds such as beeping, fireworks, or motorcycles. Roxy needs a calm home, would be best with a single owner who wants to sit around and gossip about people. Does not like fun, excitement, parties, kids, surprises, or anything interesting. She just wants to snuggle quietly. Roxy's adoption fee is $275. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. She is available only to our Crossville, Tennessee friends.
