Meet our sweet Lucius. This older boy found his way to an impound as an owner surrender. They had had him since he was a pup, but unfortunately the kids in the home were becoming too rough for Lucius. So, they felt is was best if he found a new home with no kids. He were told that Lucius is a purebred Brussels Griffon who is entering his senior years. He is very scared with all the changes going on in his life so we hope we can make his stay with us short. It takes time for Lucius to warm up to new people and he often tries to cower or hide under things. Once he realizes you are not going to hurt him, and with the help of some tasty treats/food, he warms up well and likes to try to sit in your lap! He also enjoys rolling on his side or back so he can get some much needed belly rubs. Lucius`s would prefer a quieter home where his family is home often and do not have frequent visitors. He would love an adult only home that gives him time and space to adjust to his new routine. Lucius thrives on stability and routine and once he knows you, he will be your best friend!
