Story
It is with a very heavy heart that i have to give up my beloved Max due to an illness. Max was rescued from living on the street when he was five months old and he is now two and a half. He is a great loving companion, has loads of personality, is full of love and affection and loves to play games, play with other dogs, run around, sit on my lap, . He has been a tremendous comfort to me. He is very smart, inquisitive, high on energy and would do best in a home with a yard and other pets to play with. He is 30 lbs but very strong, as he is 25% bull terrior, 25% rat terrior, and 25% maltese which gives him a gently loving nature and mellows out the bull in him. He has been in doggy day care and dog parks and does fine, he loves to be with other dogs. He can be a bit domineering with smaller dogs as he is an alpha, likes to be the leader of the pack. He is very protectorate and possessive of his owner and may become impatient when he does not get full attention. He is just a sweetheart

Story
My name is Butta Scoop. Im about months old. My guy named me cause he rescued me one nite when he went to the grocer to Pick up some butter. My girls named me Scoop, cause they say I;m nosy and persistent Like a reporter investigating a story. I like my peeps and they like and treat me well. But my guy is allergic to me and has to walk around with a mask on a lot of the time. My girls say “me strong, like bull” and a bit too physical for them (whimps). But all in all, I do shed, and I am a high energy pup. I’m a lover who likes to cuddle and I can get a bit pushy about “me time” with you. My favorite treats are apples, carrots, ice cubes and any human food I can manage to sneak and get my chompers on. My favorite specialty treats (my girl gets them at Marshalls & TJ Maxx) are Butcher Shop Select Chews Chicken Fillets and Blue Nudges Grillers (chicken or steak). I love ear and chest rubs. Like to sit at your feet and lay bedside at night.

Story
Maria is the most laidback girl who just wants to be by your side or resting her head in your lap. This 7-year-old Bull Terrier walks well on a leash and is gentle when she plays. Maria is about 40lbs of sweetness. We are currently treating scaring on the top of her snout which occurred somehow before coming to our shelter. She is friendly with other dogs and ignores the cats at the shelter and just adores attention from anyone needing a hug. To adopt Maria, complete an application at AbandonedPetRescue.orgiTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Story
Sunshine is a female Boxer mix who was rescued off the streets by a wonderful woman named Hailey who is now unable to keep her (although she would love to!!) Sunshine is a quiet and incredibly loving and sweet dog. She loves to just lay with you and cuddle close. When she is around other dogs, she likes to play fetch and have a good time. An incredible dog who would make an amazing addition to any family. Her foster mom thinks Sunshine may have experienced abuse in the past because when she tries to pet her without warning she flinches in fear and is afraid to drink water or eat food without permission. We are hoping to find a loving home for her where she can feel safe. Sunshine is currently in South Florida and foster is willing to travel for the right adopter. If you are interested in learning more or in meeting Sunshine, please contact HAILEY ROSA at (813) 428-1300 or via email at hailey.rosa@yahoo.com. DISCLAIMER: Happy Tails Dog Rescue is helping Hailey market Sunshine for a new home but has otherwise not had any involvement. As such, Happy Tails Dog Rescue cannot attest to the health, temperament, or other factors related to Sunshine now or in the future. Please contact Hailey at the number above for details and next steps.

Story
👩‍🎤 🔥🎶SASHA FIERCE 🎶🔥👩‍🎤is now AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! This adorable, female, 35 lb, 3-4 year old bulldog with cropped ears(it’s clear that someone chopped her ears off themself in her past 😞😡) is literally sweet as 🥧… with everyone. 💕😇 She was clearly used for breeding and then dumped at a canal with scars all over her body/face, skin infections, ear infections, and eye infections. 😭💔 Her infections have been treated ✅, her skin has almost completely healed (she will always have a few battle scars) ✅, and she has been fully vetted/spayed ✅. 🌟💚🌟She is looking for a very kind/gentle household where she will receive tons of snuggles on the couch, bones/toys to play with whenever she desires, and have a human to hang with throughout the day. She loves to slow roam around a fenced-in-backyard and sunbathe. She is house-trained and well behaved. 👉👉👉If interested in adopting this extremely deserving girl, fill out an inquiry form: https://www.greendogrescuefl.org/adoptioninquiry
