Story
Lola is a people dog and great around my niece and nephews and other children. She only barks at fireworks, thunder and large packs of dogs. She was a "teachers pet" at the shelter I adopted her from and her weight is perfect. She doesn't pull very hard and its easy to open her jaw if she gets somethhing she's not supposed to have. When she is bathed she uses uses her weight against you and plops down with minimal resistance. Best to have a bag of treats with you if you decide to clip her nails on your own, she tends to pull the paw away, does not bite. She responds to "gentle" "sit" "come" "down" "shake" If she snatched a treat yell "ow" and she immediately knows she went too fast for it. Likes her ears rubbed alot. Likes to be outside but not much of a walker. Very good manners around loud and undisciplined dogs. When I see her eating too much grass I make her chicken breast and white rice. 2 meals a day, wet digestion based food, watch for garbage outside, she is used to crates.

Story
I have had a hard journey. I was a very pregnant senior gal transferred from another shelter so that I could spend my pregnancy in a foster home. I was a high risk due to my age, and sadly my pregnancy took a bad turn as I started to loose my pups and became very sick myself. Thankfully I was brought to the ER just in time to save me from sepsis from a retained placenta. Because of my antibiotics, I was unable to feed my two surviving pups so my human foster mom took great care of them and raised them as her own. Just before being ready for adoption a growth popped up on my leg so back to the doctors I went. It was removed and biopsied and came back a low grade mast cell tumor. This is not the best news, but also not the worst, so now to keep me in the best shape, I am on joint support for arthritis and an antihistamine to help block more growths. I know I am a bit of a medical project, but I am loving and kind and am hopeful a family will fall in love with my gentle nature and say let's do this!I am currently living in a foster home, so if you are interested in adopting me please call and speak with our Office Staff - they can help get the process started!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Medical NeedsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
****COMING SOON- He is still being vetted, he will be fixed before adoption**** Canine Clip: Isla's Journey watched my owners open the door and let me loose, they no longer wanted me. So they ended up surrendering me to Isla's Journey. I'm a very sweet boy, I am very goofy! I'm dog selective, so I need meet-n-greets with any possible fur siblings. I am potty trained!! Personality: Roscoe is a happy-go-lucky boy. He's determined to make you laugh!! He has lots of energy so he loves to play and go for walks. While he does well with children he gets nervous with younger kids so he needs to go to a home with older children (10yrs+). Dream Lifestyle: He would love a fenced in yard to get all my zoomies out! Roscoe would like someone active who can keep up with his puppy-like energy level. He would love daily walks and lots of playtime! Other Pets: Roscoe is dog selective so he would need to meet any other dogs in the home first. He can't be in a home with little dogs, only dogs his size or bigger if any. We aren't sure how he would do with cats.
