I want someone who would take good care of her. She loves running and being active, but can settle down and nap when you tell her to. SHE TAKES A BIT BEFORE SHE GETS USE TO OTHER DOGSif you want to feed her chicken, she loves it boiled into a soup of sorts. I usually put carrots and other root veggies along with chicken breast.

I have had a hard journey. I was a very pregnant senior gal transferred from another shelter so that I could spend my pregnancy in a foster home. I was a high risk due to my age, and sadly my pregnancy took a bad turn as I started to loose my pups and became very sick myself. Thankfully I was brought to the ER just in time to save me from sepsis from a retained placenta. Because of my antibiotics, I was unable to feed my two surviving pups so my human foster mom took great care of them and raised them as her own. Just before being ready for adoption a growth popped up on my leg so back to the doctors I went. It was removed and biopsied and came back a low grade mast cell tumor. This is not the best news, but also not the worst, so now to keep me in the best shape, I am on joint support for arthritis and an antihistamine to help block more growths. I know I am a bit of a medical project, but I am loving and kind and am hopeful a family will fall in love with my gentle nature and say let's do this!I am currently living in a foster home, so if you are interested in adopting me please call and speak with our Office Staff - they can help get the process started!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Medical NeedsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Meet Jango Fett. He was raised since he was super young, and is the sweetest 1year and 8month old boy. I’m looking for a caring home preferably without kids, as I do not know how he is around them. He is really good with other pets, as long as he's properly introduced. Jango is loving, protective, funny, playful, and very sweet. Due to some details, we think he was previously abused in his first home, leading to a little scar on top of his head and some fearfulness of new people or if he thinks he’s in trouble. He is an inside dog and does well outside of his crate, (though he is crate trained). He also does well outside but we think he’s better inside. The main reason I am giving my boy up is because me and my husband are expecting and since Jango was not properly socialized with kids im risking both my child’s life as well as Jangos. He’s very low maintenance and requires normal exercise. He will be a great companion and best friend. (also a cuddle bug)Please help us find him a home

Root Beer is a 6-year-old dog who has been with our family since she was 10 weeks old. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us, but after a serious incident in our home involving another pet, we have come to the conclusion that she needs to be in a different environment where she can truly succeed and everyone can remain safe. She is deeply loved, highly intelligent, agile, and very loyal to her people. Root Beer thrives with structure, attention, and clear boundaries. She would do best as the only pet in the home and in an environment that is calm, stable, and experienced with strong dogs. With a young child in the home and ongoing tension between the animals, the stress in our household has become too high to safely manage long term. We are trying to make the most responsible choice possible for both Root Beer and our family. Our biggest priority is finding her a safe, committed home where she can have the individual attention and environment she needs to thrive.
