Story
We rescued Myla at 6 months old, she had a rough past and her previous owners were not very kind to her. She is now a little over 12 months old, potty trained, crate trained, basic command trained, spayed and up to date with all shots. Myla is high energy, lovable, sweet and affectionate to those she knows close or are recent visitors. She is hight energy, goofy and definitely has a personality that she owns deeply. She loves her chew bones and belly rubs are her favorite. She would thrive in a house with not many visitors, secluded yard where she can run in play, maybe even another dog to keep her company, someone with a routine, not a high trafficked area with people (city is bad) & no children. Myla does better around people she knows, and not so great around people she doesn’t know. She really loves other dogs/going to the dog park. She does great in long car rides and listens well off leash on trails. She never wants to leave your side.

Story
Sway is one resilient girl who has overcome so much and is now looking for a home to kick back and relax in. She deserves it! She was found as a stray in Florida, where she was quickly treated for a broken back leg. Once she recovered thanks to a wonderful foster family, she made her way up to Massachusetts. It took her a few days to warm up, and her true personality and medical issues (unfortunately) began to unfold. We believe she has IBD and possible gut motility issues, and is currently on a special hypoallergenic diet and medications. She was experiencing a lot of regurgitation episodes, with occasional inappetence and lethargy. Thanks to the amazing Baypath community, we were able to get her testing and diagnostics, and she'll require lifelong care to manage her condition. In regards to her missing back leg, she is pretty mobile and can go up and down stairs (or take an elevator, she's a pro!) Despite her medical, her spirits have remained high. She is the sweetest girl who loves to cuddle up with her people. When she's super excited, she'll do the cutest zoomies and romp around. Sway also enjoys romping around with her canine friends too. She would be fine with or without a like minded dog friend in her home. Sway says no thank you to cats, they're too exciting! If you think you're the miracle home Sway's been looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out!

These pups are in Boston, Massachusetts too!

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper, slow introductionsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesIf you’re looking for the ultimate companion, Jaxtyn checks all of the boxes: he’s extremely smart, attentive, dedicated, and eager to make his humans happy. (Plus, he’s extra, extra handsome if we do so say so ourselves!)Jaxtyn absolutely loves affection and thrives on the connection he makes with his humans. While he does prefer a slower introduction when meeting new people, he quickly becomes comfortable and loves to show off his impressive manners. Jax gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions (he can still be wary of new friends he meets on the street), and while he would enjoy a dog sibling to nap and play with, he would be just as happy as an only dog where he can be the center of attention.Jaxtyn has been working diligently on his training with his foster dad and has an impressive skillset that includes focus and release commands, expert-level leash-walking skills, and all of his basic commands like ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘wait’. Jaxtyn is fully house and crate-trained and thrives with structure and routine. Jaxtyn is currently working to gain more confidence on walks around things like bikes, scooters, or busy sidewalks and he’s making stellar progress. Jaxtyn would do great in a home in the city as he’s shown he can be comfortable in an urban setting or would love a more low-key house in the suburbs with a yard to romp and roam in. Bonus - he’s great in the car so he’d be thrilled to be your adventure buddy! Jaxtyn is an amazing boy who’s ready to find - and unconditionally love - his family! April 26, 2024, 6:21 am
