Story
Hi, My name is Kallie and I'm 15 weeks old. I was found with my littermate by a 12 year old girl and was fostered by her grandmother. I'm good with kids. I came up from Louisiana to find a loving home. I was shy at first, but have come a long ways since being with so many loving volunteers. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle with you. I walk well on leash. I am fine overnight and I don't make a mess. I've been around older kids and dogs. I'm a favorite at the shelter, but I don't want to grow up here. Won't you open your home to me? Apply at http://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp

Story
Meet Chloe, a 45 lb., 2 year old, Bull Terrier mix. Chloe's foster mom describes her as a sweet girl. Chloe loves to snuggle with her blankets and toys. She loves going on walks, chilling out on the deck and is great in the car. Chloe is house-trained and knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccines. Chloe is good with cats and kids. She seems to be selective with dogs. When she came to our rescue she had skin irritation, but this has been treated and is mostly cleared up. She is not on medication. If you are interested in finding out more about Chloe, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://bit.ly/2JnZqK5 Chloe is being fostered in the Worcester area. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

(Plus, he’s extra, extra handsome if we do so say so ourselves!)Jaxtyn absolutely loves affection and thrives on the connection he makes with his humans. While he does prefer a slower introduction when meeting new people, he quickly becomes comfortable and loves to show off his impressive manners. Jax gets along well with other dogs, and while he’d enjoy a dog sibling to nap and play with, he’d be just as happy as an only dog where he can be the center of attention.Jaxtyn has been working diligently on his training with his foster dad and has an impressive skillset that includes focus and release commands, expert-level leash-walking skills, and all of his basic commands like ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘wait’. Jaxtyn is fully house and crate-trained and thrives with structure and routine. Jaxtyn is currently working to gain more confidence on walks around things like bikes, scooters, or busy sidewalks and he’s making stellar progress. Jaxtyn would do great in a home in the city as he’s shown he can be comfortable in an urban setting or would love a more low-key house in the suburbs with a yard to romp and roam in. Bonus - he’s great in the car so he’d be thrilled to be your adventure buddy! Jaxtyn is an amazing boy who’s ready to find - and unconditionally love - his family! September 24, 2023, 4:15 pm

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Unknown, likely noGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: MostlyHouse trained: MostlyThis super little sassy dog is full of energy and personality! She loves to go on walks and play with toys. She’ll even take a toy on a walk with her. She loves people and is a cuddle bug.  Daisy's perfect home would be anywhere someone has patience and loves to cuddle. She wants to meet every dog she sees but doesn’t know how to properly give them space, so proper intros are a must. Once she's made friends, her favorite thing to do is to play chase. She’s been around older children and has done great. She can be a bit mouthy at times, but corrects easily. She likes the kids' attention.Daisy will go into the crate but will whine and bark for about 5-10 minutes. She does better if she cannot see or hear her people. Treats and toys help to keep her occupied, especially stuffed toys. She has recently learned not to potty in her crate and is mostly house trained, so long as she is kept on a regular schedule. Daisy walks pretty well on a leash, although she could use some more practice at learning not to pull. Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesA perfect mixture of energy and chill, Tutu is just as happy playing as she is chewing on her toys! She tends to perceive "toys" in the broader sense of the word as she still needs to learn that anything on the ground is not meant for her mouth.Tutu should do well in any suburban home. Because she is a little cautious around cars and loud sounds, a city home might not be as optimal. She plays great with other dogs in a submissive manner and reads their signs very well. Kid friendly except for potentially showering them with too many kisses and licks, she has also done well around cats as she just ignores them. Tutu rides great in the car and does well on the leash aside from some pulling. In terms of the crate, she goes in willingly and typically settles in quickly. She is also great about standing by the door to alert when she needs to go out.The complete package of fun and chill, Tutu cannot wait to meet her forever family! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
