She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He is a lovable, affectionate boy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart! This medium-energy pup has bursts of playful energy mixed with plenty of couch snuggle time. Hotch would do well in an active home to take him on fun walks and provide him with a lot of love.Hotch is very sociable and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He would do well with or without a canine sibling. Hotch was curious about the cats in his foster home and would do fine with dog-savvy cats who don't mind a friendly sniff. He has done well with children ages 1 to 9 who are used to dogs, though he greets bigger and smaller humans alike, so he'd do best with dog-savvy kids. Hotch enjoys playing with stuffed toys and loves his walks around the neighborhood! This smart boy is eager to please! He is fully crate trained (sometimes just needing a little coaxing with a treat) and house trained. Hotch is crated during the day and overnight without any issues. He transitioned easily to potty training and has had zero accidents since coming north. Hotch is excellent on leash. If you're looking for an adventure buddy by day and snuggle buddy at night, then this goofy, lovable boy is for you! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
MEET TYSON!It is everybody`s favorite block-headed boy, he is Tyson! Tyson is an american bully with a big head, and an even bigger heart! He is a staff favorite for a reason, between his silly personality and his even sillier noises, he is a such a charmer. He is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and for a big dude, walks impressively well on leash. He loves a good play sesh, but tires easily and is just as content to plop down with a toy or bone. He seems to like other dogs, but would do just fine as your one and only. My friends describe me as: Goofy, Friendly, ExpressiveTyson is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. For more information on Tyson or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. Santini has excellent manners and is house trained and crate trained. She would love to show off everything she has learned including sit, stay, down, and heel (for a treat of course)! Santini is happy to fit into her humans' routine and picks up quickly on new commands. She is very accommodating, walks well on a leash, and corrects/redirects easily. Santini loves to play, but is also happy to hang out with her people around the house.Santini would do best as the only dog in the house with an experienced dog owner who can maintain consistent boundaries and expectations to help her succeed and feel reassured. She is an athletic gal who loves to chase after balls and show off her signature ‘hopping prance’. She would love to have a fenced in yard or a local fenced in area so she can show off her moves! When she has finally expended all of her energy you can find her searching for the best sunbathing spot to take a snooze in. Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
