Story
Meet Rebel, a 2-3 month old boxer mix with the cutest ears and a personality that melts hearts. Weighing in at just 8 lbs, Rebel may be small, but his spirit is boundless. He was found abandoned at a construction site with his sister. We are thrilled someone took pity on them; taking care of them until we could step in to help. Without food, water, and shelter, survival was impossible. This little guy adores playing with his fur friends and cuddling up close, yet he’s also content to spend quiet moments on his own—no crazy barking, just peaceful tail wags. The perfect little pup!! Rebel’s happiest moments are when he’s surrounded by love, whether it’s from humans or fellow pups. His gentle nature makes him a joy to be around, and his wagging tail is always ready to greet you. We dare you not to smile once you lay eyes on this sweet, fun pup. Now, Rebel is looking for his forever home—a place where he can share his playful energy and affectionate cuddles with a family who will cherish him. If you’re seeking a loyal companion with a joyful spirit, Rebel is ready to bring warmth and happiness into your life. We hope a forever family will see the wonderful spirit Rebel has and give him the loving home he deserves.

Story
Meet Anastasia, a little lost princess waiting for her “Once Upon a December” moment. She can be nervous with new people and will need help with socialization, but once she warms up, her silly, cuddly personality shines bright. Anastasia loves to play fetch and play with other dogs. She has a rough and tumble play style and would love to go home with a dog friend who can keep up with her. She may be slow to warm up, but with a patient, loving family to guide her, she’s ready to find the place where her heart finally feels at home. Anastasia can potentially live with a well-matched dog friend, a dog-savvy cat, and/or teenagers.

Story
THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE OF OUR KENNEL IN WOBURN, MA. ONCE A POTENTIAL ADOPTER IS MATCHED WITH A DOG AND GOES THROUGH OUR REFERENCE AND INTERVIEW PROCESS WITH AN ADOPTION COORDINATOR THIS DOG WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO MEET BEFORE ADOPTION. IT IS OUR GOAL TO GET ALL LOCAL DOGS TO THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES WITHIN 7 DAYS ONCE MATCHED. **Please read Tucker Loyal's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Dipper Stardust, a 6-week-old Boxer / Bulldog mix, weighing approx. 4-6 pounds as of (3/18/26). His mom is Glitter Gal (also adoptable). Just like how there's a range of colors in confetti, the STARDUST pups are a mix of many awesome breeds making them the Perfect American Mutts! We might not know their dad's breed, but we do know mom is an adult at 57 pounds, so we suspect they might be around that size when grown. These pups are sure to bring the pomp and circumstance to any celebration! Dipper Stardust is basically the dog version of Indiana Jones! This boy loves exploring his surroundings and finding treasure in hidden places. Sure, it might be the remote you lost under the couch, but at least he helped you find it! Dipper's great like that! His single black eyebrow sets him apart from his brothers and sisters, while accentuating those beautiful blue eyes he shares with them. He likes to call his eyebrow his monocle, because he's always looking at at the stars. The Big Dipper and Little Dipper are his favorite constellations, obviously. When he's not playing with you or being curious about the world around him, Dipper will curl up in your lap for a nap after a long day. Doesn't that sound amazing? He thinks so. The Stardust pups are awesome with other dogs and while they haven't met cats or kids yet, they hope to win them over too! Because they're brand new to this Earth, the Stardust pups will need assistance and love when it comes to potty training, leashing, commands, etc. so that they can be the best family members they can be! For your patience and help, they'll send glitter packages to your enemies, so be sure to give them a list of the most annoying people you know! Make everyday a starry one! Bring the Stardust pups home today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Tucker Loyal, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.

Story
Henderson is a lovable, adoring, energetic 20-month old pitbull mix. We adopted him at 4 months old from MSPCA Angell after he was attacked by another dog and surrendered by his first owner. Henderson's injuries led to his front right leg being amputated.Henderson gets along with nearly every dog he meets and would probably love living with a well-matched dog. We're heartbroken that he has not been able to live with our cats. He would also likely do best in a calm home without kids.Henderson truly acts his age and has a lot of energy and loves to play, yet he is also the perfect couch companion and wants all the love and kisses he can get. He is leash-trained, but has a tendency to lunge at strangers and would enjoy a yard, outdoor space, or a less dense/stressful neighborhood. As a tripod, an adopter will need to monitor Henderson's weight to avoid future joint issues. He is on a hypoallergenic/hydrolized diet after finding a routine with his vet that works for his sensitive skin.

Story
Rehoming Sweet 4-Year-Old Bully Breed – Gemma It breaks my heart to do this, but due to a terminal medical condition, I need to find a loving new home for my dog, Gemma. Gemma is 4 years old and has been with me since she was a puppy—she has never been in a shelter. She has a very sweet, gentle nature and absolutely loves to snuggle. She’s happiest curled up next to her person or sleeping in bed with you. She has a laid-back, calm personality typical of the bully breed—very chill, affectionate, and loyal. Gemma forms a strong bond with her person and will greet you every day with pure excitement, tail wags, and full-body wiggles. About Gemma * 4 years old * Extremely affectionate and people-oriented * Low-key, relaxed temperament * Loves cuddling and being close to her person **Ideal Home:** Gemma would do best with an experienced large-breed dog owner who can provide a calm, stable environment. She thrives in a home that isn’t too hectic. She is protective of her home.

Story
Meet Mia, An 8-month-old American Pit Bull full of love, energy, and personality! Mia is a very active and affectionate pup who absolutely loves attention and being around people. One of her favorite things is greeting you at the door with excitement, often jumping up to say hello after you come home. Mia is curious and attentive when she sees other dogs and seems eager to greet them. Her experience with cats and other dogs is still unknown, so slow introductions would be best. She is up to date on all of her shots and ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and share her affectionate personality. If you’re looking for a fun, lovable companion with lots of energy and an even bigger heart, Mia could be the perfect match for you!
