Henry is an 11-year-old Olde English Bulldog with a heart as big as his snooze schedule. This distinguished gentleman is looking for a forever home where he can bask in the sun and perfect his craft as a professional sleeper. He’s happy to be around cats, small to medium dogs (he doesn’t seem to get along well with the big guys) and kids, and enjoys a soft bed and warm blanket to snuggle in. While Henry is a fairly mellow guy, he does resource guard—especially when it comes to treats and bones. He’ll thrive in a home that understands his boundaries and lets him enjoy his meals and treats on his own. Henry will also require ongoing veterinary care to address some long term concerns. As an older guy, he moves around slowly and sometimes needs a boost to get where he’s going. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who’s mastered the art of relaxation, Henry might just be your perfect match. Miller is currently housed at Rochester Animal Control- please apply online and PCHS staff will be in touch to set up an appointmemt to meet him! Meet Miller! He and his brother, Stephan, went on an unauthorized jaunt around town when they were picked up and taken in to Rochester Animal Control. Their owners were located, but ultimatly decided that they were unable to keep them any longer. They were released to Rochester Animal Control and now are on the look out for their forever homes! While these boys do get along, they don`t need to be adopted to the same home. Miller is larger than his brother, and is the more dominant of the two. Stephan and Miller have both lived with other dogs in tehpast, and have done well. Both are goofy and happy boys who would love to find active families to enjoy life with! Miller is around 2 years old and would benefit from getting some basic training to help hone in on his manners, and help him build his confidence. This sweet, playful guy has wonderful manners paired with a joyful personality that makes him an absolute delight to be around. Codes is very personable and happy, always ready to play or hang out with his people. He is mostly potty trained—he understands the routine but doesn’t always let you know when he needs to go out, so gentle reminders help keep him on track. This boy also comes with some impressive house skills! He won’t get on the couch unless invited, is silent in his kennel, and doesn’t tear up his kennel, toys, or stuffies. He’s also amazing in the car, making him a great adventure buddy. Codes walks nicely on a leash and prefers not to be jumped on, appreciating calm, respectful interactions.
