Story
Willow is an owner surrender that came to us pregnant.  She had her pups and will be spayed in January 2026.  She is a young girl. She is a bit of a scavenger, but we are working on that.  She likes to stay close to her fosters as she is deaf.  We are working with her using sign language and routine.  She will occassionally bark at the cat, but only to get him to play.  She is in foster care with kids, cats, kittens, and other dogs.  She is good with all of them.  She is almost ready to adopt out her pups and start a life of her own.  Will you consider her in your household?  www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.orgAdoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  December 16, 2025, 9:54 am

Story
Hi, I’m Hugh! I’m a 4-year-old pittie/boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. Everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest boy. I’ve never met a stranger, and I especially love kids! Life wasn’t always easy for me, but I’m making up for lost time with all the love and energy I have to share. I’m neutered, crate trained, and fully up to date on my vaccines. I am heartworm positive, but some of the cost of treatment will be covered to help my future family get me healthy. Here’s what you should know about me: • Super people-friendly (love, love, love attention) • Kid-approved • High energy — I’m always ready for fun • Crate trained • Playful with dogs (I come in a little hot, but I just want to make friends) • No cats, please! I’m looking for a family who can give me the exercise, structure, and love I’ve been waiting for. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, I’d love to meet you!

Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldg Size: Large; currently 90+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kids: no children for Bella Vida, but teenagers, may work! Dogs & cats: Bella Vida is looking to be the only pet in your home. --=========================== Bella Vida is a big personality wrapped in a beautiful white coat. She’s confident, sassy, and needs an assertive human who can match her alpha energy with calm leadership. She’s not exactly the Einstein of the dog world—and she’s definitely a little clumsy—but her goofy charm and lovable nature win everyone over. Bella’s the kind of girl who will make you laugh daily, whether it’s with her thunderous post-workout snoring or her signature backseat move: belly up, paws in the air, cruising in style. This quirky boxer has some strong opinions—especially when it comes to her ball of the day. With a collection of 15+ to choose from, she carefully selects the one and will turn up her nose at any other imposter. Don’t worry—she’ll dig through her toy basket until she finds the chosen one. Bella Vida is also a people-watching pro, spending hours at the window like a little watchdog queen. She’s got love to give, a personality that fills the room, and a funny streak that never quits. She’s not for the faint of heart—but if you’re ready to be her partner in crime, she’ll be your fiercely loyal, endlessly entertaining best friend. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Please contact my foster at: nmroman@gmail.comA spritely 6-7 year old pup. House broken and non destructive when left in a room outside of a crate.- we`ve left him alone for 9 hours with no issues. Is now walking very well on a leash, no intense pulling. Has been easy to train/work with. Loves his walks but can also as easily go out in the yard and chill. Dog friendly for sure. Can have some reaction on a leash but does well at run club with lots of people and dogs. Has been to social events and has also done great. Does not seem to thrive with apartment dwelling but I`ve seen improvements with his last staycation. We`ve made strides with his barking and anxious energy. He`s a lot calmer and less barky and fairly easy to get his attention and stop him when he starts. Still no cats but it is better when he sees them on walks vs out the window. No resource guarding or food protection shown!
