Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes --=========================== ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Well hello MINNIE! Quick Facts: Breed: Boxer X Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2015 Weight: Around 50# House/Crate Trained: Yes & Yes! -========================================== This sweet soul was an owner surrender to a shelter, severely underweight at a mere 30#. As a result, Minnie was diagnosed with EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and will need to eat dog food for sensitive stomachs, sprinkled with an enzyme powder that allows her body to absorb and digest the food she's eating. She LOVES to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the world's best zoomies & will wrestle until her heart's content, BUT Minnie quickly falls victim to rainy days and nights, turning into a couch potato at the first sign of precipitation or at sundown, whichever comes first. She will curl up on the couch next to her favorite person and chew on a bone/toy while binging your favorite shows. She is so incredibly loving and so so happy. This girl enjoys long walks or car rides that lead to the park or snacks. But one thing Minnie does NOT enjoy is the thought of sharing her snacks or food (Same, Minnie, same). While Minnie learns that food & snacks are now an unlimited resource, she will need to be fed separately & given treats separately from other animals. She can be a little protective of her bones when she's trying to relax, but has a tendency to only boss around the submissive ones in the house, leaving her head honcho foster brother out of the warnings. Minnie walks well on a leash, but pulls when she gets excited & will need continued training. She is house trained & crate trained, relaxing in there while her foster mom is out of the house. She has not been cat or kid tested. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Minnie is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Meet the Ted Lasso crew! Rebecca Welton Estimated Birthday: 11/30/2023 Size: we are guessing this crew will be over 50lbs. Breed: mixed breed --================================ This litter will be available March 2nd but we are accepting applications now. Rebecca Welton has the different markings out of all her foster siblings with beautiful red tones in her face. She lives with dogs of all sizes from 7lbs to 70lbs and does well with them all. She enjoys stuffy toys and food. She enjoys romping and rolling with her foster siblings. They are the typical puppies, they eat a bunch, poop a lot, play hard and sleep even harder. They are all working on their house-training skills but you can expect to have to train the one you adopt! They are not fully crate-trained, but they are quick learners. Puppies require training, so these babies are no different. We highly encourage enrolling in a training program to teach your new addition good manners and to help him or her be well socialized. Please remember puppies demand a lot of your time and pets are a commitment for life. Please read the information below and if you have any further questions please EMAIL us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & complete the adoption application. -The adoption fee for Rebecca Welton is $365 -The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter. -Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families. Charlotte and surrounding cities only. We apologize for any inconvenience. **These puppies may contain pit bull. We have no information on their mom or dad.

Story
Boys just want to play, play, play. I am a 3 month old male boxer mix. I was a stray and ended up at the shelter. I am a big love bug and want to be with my human. I am loving playing with other dogs but they often do not like to me in their space. When that happens I go about my business. I want to please the humans and will be a quick learner when it comes to manners. I am going to need a fenced in yard to play around in. I would like to have a canine friend but if my human is active and wants to play I will be okay. Because I am young, I will need to work on training including housebreaking. I am doing well in a crate when I need to be but again I want to be next to my human. I am learning to play with toys and liking the toys. I am hoping I will find someone that will love me and play with me. I will need a lot os pets and treats. If this is your home fill out an application and someone will be in touch with you. If interested in giving Odie a forever home, please complete an application at www.safeanimalhaven.com.October 2, 2024, 7:15 pm

He is very good protector. He is great with all animals except cats. He is great with kids. We are expanding our family and feel he should be in a home that can give him all the love and attention he needs. He does have some anxiety and it makes him shake but if you give him the attention he needs he is fine.

A few details about Karma: House-trained, Spayed, Microchipped, Kind We originally rescued Karma from the Humane Society; she is now 3 years old. We seek a new home where she can thrive in an active, outdoor environment with her new owner. Karma is a beautiful but shy dog who may be reserved at first. She adores cuddling. She is also quiet and great with children; she has always been gentle with my toddler. She deserves a loving home, and we would like to arrange a meet and greet before finalizing the rehoming process.

Story
Ivey was born shortly after her mom was surrendered to a rural SC shelter. She spent her whole life at the shelter until joining The Foster Dog House. She is the happiest puppy! She LOVES people and lets you know with endless kisses. She LOVES other dogs and we recommend having another dog in her forever home to continue building her confidence. We've taken her to several breweries where she patiently lays at our feet (or tries to make friends with the other brewery dogs) She is doing great at crate training where she sleeps through the night. Potty training is going well too. She walks well on a leash and also enjoys romping around a fenced in yard. Our best guess is she's boxer mix (her siblings were brindle) and expect her to be around 40lbs when fully grown. She's UTD on vaccines, preventatives, and already microchipped and spayed.

My dogs name is nugget and he’s a really really really great loving dog! He is house trained, great with people and my kids. I have never walked him with a leash ever he’s knows not to go in the street, pretty much just let him do his thing we don’t have a backyard in my townhome community so we have a little area where he knows to do his thing. He does have allergies, I’ve been giving him apoquel for his allergies about one a day and it seems to do the trick. He does have some skin issues on his back from before the apoquel and we were trying to figure out how to help him but other than that he just wants to play all day. I’m starting a trucking career oct 28th and unfortunately I won’t be able to bring him with me and my wife doesn’t like dogs he was pretty much mine so gonna have to find him a new home

To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Absolute sugar, Allen would be a great first dog.Allen is a delightful leggy boi with a super sunny disposition and smile that will brighten any day. He's just about 6 months old (as of mid-July), 30lbs and another "anyone's guess" as far as breeds go. His temperament is the friend-to-all of hunting breeds, he's super devoted and makes excellent eye contact like a herding breed, and he's got those flippy ears that could have come from a pittie, or something else entirely. Whatever his breeds are, he's 100% happy and an absolute joy to live with. Allen is a go anywhere, do anything kinda guy. He loves dogs and kids for sure, he's met cats and seemed to know they were sharp, and he came across a duck who had not gone to the pen when she was asked to, he did her no harm. Allen would love to find a family who likes to take their dog along for beach trips and brewery nights. He loves making friends and while he's not seen much of the world yet, he's looking forward to making memories with his new human(s).  He said to ask if you have a dog. He's kinda hoping you do, but if you don't that'll be fine too. But maybe you have a friend with a dog, he'd like that. Does this humble little sweetheart look like the guy for you? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an application, he's looking forward to meeting you...and hopefully your dog (he made me put that last bit in).Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. October 5, 2024, 5:09 pm

To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Delightful ray of sunshine, tiny and fun-sized, friend to all.Would you look at this fun-sized little peanut! We can't get over how amazing this dog is, nor how tiny he is for a blocky-headed dog. Absolute squee, he's the very bestest and we're all so smitten. Gerbil is right around a year old and a mere 30lbs, he's got a sweet and easy going demeanor with a little bit of puppy silliness with his dog buddies. He goes to daycare daily with his foster and has so many dog friends, he's thoroughly unfazed by nonsense and adjusts his play style to whoever he's hanging out with. He's gone to a couple of events at breweries and he gets an A+ for brewery dog skills, he just hangs out and makes friends with everyone he meets. Gerbil would love to find an adopter with dog friends, but he could do the single life as long as he gets to go see some dog buddies from time to time. We think he'd get along with a cat, but he may expect kitty to play rowdy with him so you decide if your cat wants to put up with young dog shenanigans. Kids? Oh heckins yes, but he is a small guy, so well-behaved kids who will be mindful where he is would be best. This guy is a star everywhere he goes and we'd love to match him with someone who knows how to treat their dog like he hung the moon. Is that you? Visit southofthebully.com and apply to adopt Gerbil. Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.
