Story
My name is Miss Debbie. I rescued Marley from a family member who is now homeless. I, however, am not physically/financially able to sustain Marley as well. I'm trying to find him a new forever Home. Marley is 8 years old boxer/golden retriever mix. He doesn't have floppy lips so he doesn't drool. Marley grew up in the household with only one owner. I feel he would benefit from having a new family with big fur/human brothers and sisters to play with. Bc he loves lots of hugs and kisses. He is a house dog and is house broken. But has not been neutered. He doesn't chew or destroy the furniture. He is calm inside the house. He likes to sit at your feet while watching TV and sleep at the foot of the bed. He is very polite and often tries to communicate with you. He does enjoy long walks and loves car rides. fireworks scare him. I don't have the money to purchase Marley a bed or a proper walking harness. And am seeking help from the Charlotte humane society to get him neutered.

Story
Hi, I’m Hugh! I’m a 4-year-old pittie/boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. Everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest boy. I’ve never met a stranger, and I especially love kids! Life wasn’t always easy for me, but I’m making up for lost time with all the love and energy I have to share. I’m neutered, crate trained, and fully up to date on my vaccines. I am heartworm positive, but some of the cost of treatment will be covered to help my future family get me healthy. Here’s what you should know about me: • Super people-friendly (love, love, love attention) • Kid-approved • High energy — I’m always ready for fun • Crate trained • Playful with dogs (I come in a little hot, but I just want to make friends) • No cats, please! I’m looking for a family who can give me the exercise, structure, and love I’ve been waiting for. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, I’d love to meet you!

Kids: no children for Bella Vida, but teenagers, may work! Dogs & cats: Bella Vida is looking to be the only pet in your home. --=========================== Bella Vida is a big personality wrapped in a beautiful white coat. She’s confident, sassy, and needs an assertive human who can match her alpha energy with calm leadership. She’s not exactly the Einstein of the dog world—and she’s definitely a little clumsy—but her goofy charm and lovable nature win everyone over. Bella’s the kind of girl who will make you laugh daily, whether it’s with her thunderous post-workout snoring or her signature backseat move: belly up, paws in the air, cruising in style. This quirky boxer has some strong opinions—especially when it comes to her ball of the day. With a collection of 15+ to choose from, she carefully selects the one and will turn up her nose at any other imposter. Don’t worry—she’ll dig through her toy basket until she finds the chosen one. Bella Vida is also a people-watching pro, spending hours at the window like a little watchdog queen. She’s got love to give, a personality that fills the room, and a funny streak that never quits. Story
Contact foster at ksblanks34@gmail.com- Came in with a fractured leg but he doesn’t let that dampen his spirits- He is a happy-go-lucky boy, looking for a safe spot to continue recovery- Super sweet + treat motivated- Typical puppy energy + continue to practive basic obedience training and consistency- Loves toys, belly rubs + snuggling on the sofa- Sillest boy who jumped right inside the toy bin and had the time of his life- Happiest by your side, staying close and following you around- Learning `sit` and `lay down` which he does very well when there are no distractions and is getting better during outings. Tommy gets anxious/over excited in new environments but does very, very well with the command `chill` in a soothing voice. Does experience seperation anxiety but settles in after 10-20 minutes depending on the day.I found that guiding him to `chill` over the camera`s microphone helps this a lot. He is alert and can be reactive when responding to noises and people he sees/hears around my apartment building. His reactivity can range from: stiff body/low growl/lunging/barking. This is especially when first going outside(much better with this the further we get from the door), at drive-thru workers, or when other dogs start growling at introduction. He does well during outings. He has made great friends with a few neighbors. There have been postitive interactions with other dogs as well where he enjoys running around and taking turns playing chase. Tommy will benefit from continuing to work with a trainer regarding his reactivity. Though he has experienced dog parks, it is not the best idea for him. We went to PetSmart yesterday for socialization and after the initial overexcitement, he settled into the environment and was just super curious/interested in everything around him!He has improved from his leash biting tendancy by working on no mouth use and learning to play in appropriate ways.He is very treat motivated, which is helping the training!

Story
To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Handsome Dash was found with his sister in someone's yard, what a nice surprise to wake up to! Ok, maybe not for the finder, because these two obvious littermates found their way to the local shelter pretty quickly. They were in rough shape, but everything was easily solved and now they're learning the ways of life and love in a people house. Dash is around 9 months old as of early October, and right around 40lbs. He's a super love bug who wants to be as close to his person as he possibly can be, typical pittie sweetheart. He's been doing a great job of learning all of his house dog manners, he's crate trained, he's doing great with housebreaking and he does his best to stick to his toys for chewing. For a pup his age, he's got pretty easy going energy level and is more than happy to chill with you to watch the game or go sun himself in the yard when nothing interesting is going on. He's great with dogs, cats and kids, but he is currently pretty afraid of men. We're not quite sure where he came from or what he's seen, but we've got several kind men who are showing Dash that the deep voice people are actually friends who can be trusted. We're just enchanted with this little dog and his big, kind heart. He's growing in confidence every day and he's ready for us to find his happily ever after. Dash has been going to work just about every day to meet new people and see new things, he's super affectionate once he knows someone's safe and he's having a blast discovering the world. He loves to play fetch and zoom around, then curl up with his foster mom for a good snuggle sesh. Does Dash sound like the kind soul you've been searching for? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an adoption application, we'd love for you to meet him.Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. October 8, 2025, 8:47 pm

Story
Meet Bimbi – Your Loyal, Lovable Companion in the Making   Bimbi is a stunning, 3-year-old spayed beauty weighing in at around 40 pounds. With her regal looks and soulful eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes—but it’s her heart that really makes her shine.   Bimbi has known what it means to be let down, having spent much of her life confined to a crate. Despite this, she got along well with the small dogs in her previous home and remained the friendly, affectionate girl she was born to be. Sadly, when her family fell on hard times, Bimbi was surrendered, and now she’s waiting for her true forever home.   She absolutely loves meeting new people and soaks up attention like sunshine. She adores hugs, belly rubs, kisses, and gentle brushing with a soft brush—she’ll even close her eyes in bliss. Her favorite spot? Anywhere you are.   While Bimbi might not know a ton of commands just yet, she’s eager to learn and food-motivated (she mastered “sit” in record time with a few treats!). She enjoys playing with toys and balls—fetch is a favorite, even if she doesn’t always return the ball right away. Treat-based games are another great way to bond with her and keep her busy.   She’s a big fan of cozy dog beds and fluffy blankets, though when bored, she may chew on them a bit—so she’ll thrive with love, structure, and plenty of companionship. Her happiest moments? Going for car rides with her people. It’s been a while since she’s gotten to feel the wind in her fur, and she misses it deeply.  Bimbi is ready to trade her kennel days for couch cuddles, backyard exploring, movie nights, and being your loyal shadow. She doesn’t think cats make good roommates, so a cat-free home is a must.   If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, who’s ready to learn, ready to play, and even more ready to belong—Bimbi is your girl. Come meet her. She’s been waiting for you.   Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 26, 2025, 11:59 pm

Story
Hunter is a gentle 60-pound Pitbull mix with a heart of gold. This strong boy, about a year old, was found running loose on the back roads of Tennessee, but despite his tough start, he's in great shape with a silky black coat. While no one has come forward to claim him, Hunter is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own! Hunter enjoys his daily walks and is working on not pulling on the leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 He’s curious, playful, and loves other dogs! He’s been sharing a pen with a Boxer, though we feed him separately to avoid any food aggression. Hunter does the cutest little dance when it’s time for his meals or walks—it’s sure to put a smile on your face! While he hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, Hunter did have a run-in with a neighbor’s chicken , so he might be best suited to a home without small livestock. Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Hunter find their forever homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Are you ready to give this playful boy a chance at a new beginning? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 30, 2025, 9:41 pm
