Story
&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Hey there, it’s Buddy—and I’ve got a tail-wagging, heart-tugging story to share... and maybe, just maybe, you’re meant to be part of it. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I came all the way from Miami, where I was on the list to be put to sleep. But some amazing humans believed in me—and gave me a second chance. Now I’m living for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and the dream of finding my forever home. Despite my past, I’ve held onto my sweet, goofy, and yes—feisty personality! I’m full of love, full of energy, and full of attitude in the best way. I’ve got spunk, charm, and just the right amount of sass to keep life exciting. Here’s what you should know about me: I was born in February 2021 and I’ve got plenty of youthful energy. I’m already neutered and ready to go! I love people and do well with medium to large dogs. I’m a social butterfly—playful, affectionate, and always ready for snacks. I’m very active, a little mouthy, and definitely feisty. I could benefit from some basic training to fine-tune my manners—but with the right person, I’ll thrive. &#226&#157&#151 I do not do well with small dogs or small animals—they’re just not my vibe. It is MANDATORY that adopters understand my breed traits and energy level. I’m not a laid-back lapdog—I’m a strong, driven pup who needs structure, play, and positive guidance. It is also MANDATORY to schedule an appointment in advance to meet me. No walk-ins. I’ve overcome so much and I know my forever home is out there—someone who gets my fire, loves my spark, and is ready for a loyal companion with tons of heart. Adoption fee includes: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Age-appropriate vaccinations & deworming &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Flea/tick & heartworm prevention &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Neuter surgery &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Collar, ID tag & leash A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold me for 5 days. To schedule your mandatory appointment or ask questions, call 803-536-3918 or email aro.spca@outlook.com.March 16, 2026, 12:18 am

Story
DonKEY! Our Molly Moo is the best girl! She is our longest resident. She is 5 years young and very strong and active. She loves walks and would enjoy hiking, traveling and opportunities to run and play. She does well with other dogs and with kids. She loves people and always looking for attention. She is so funny! She looks like a grounded donkey, so we call her Donkey Moo too. She has come a long way since spending over 2 years in a shelter. She has opened up to being her old self again and loves to play and has smiles all day! Don't let her age number fool you. She is a powerhouse of joy and can give anyone a run for their money. She is so happy and excited. We can not wait to see her find her first, very own forever famiily.

These pups are in Columbia, South Carolina too!

Story
This is Mr.B (that’s what we call him). He was found by a Good Samaritan roaming the streets near Station at Lake Murray. There were several posts made online looking for and owner or general information but none have been successful yet. I agreed to take him in because the lady who found him could not have another dog at her apartment. I have had him for two days and here is some info that I currently know:Good with kids but has a tendency to jump on them for their food and for attention. Good with other dogs.Loves to be outside and really needs a home with a dedicated yard and fence. Is extremely affectionate and somewhat clingy. It makes me few he was abandoned at some point. Has anxiety with loud or unexpected noises. My son and I absolutely love Mr. B but we live in a small duplex with no yard or place for outside play. We also aren’t home often to give him the guidance and therapy he requires to gain back his trust and confidence.

Story
Hello everyone! My name is Queen Lala, and my story special one, Before I became the happy, wiggly I am today, life was a little scary. My first owner loved me, but they became very, very sick & so sick that they couldn’t take care of me anymore. One day, I was left behind, and I didn’t understand why. I waited and waited, but no one came back. I went days without food or water, just hoping someone would find me. I was tiny, hungry, and confused but I never stopped hoping. One day my rescuers found me. They scooped me up, gave me water, fed me, held me close, and told me I was safe. That day my new life began. But here is the hard for my family to say..They love me so much, but with four children now and a very busy work and the kid’s school sport schedule, they can no longer give me the time, training, and attention I deserve. A queen like me needs lots of love, patience, and playtime and trust me they want the very best for me. So I’m looking for a forever home.

Suzie is 6 years old and was brought in to us after her owner had passed away. She is house broken and loves to carry her toys around. She is a great running mate and loves to play fetch. Unfortunately, she does like other animals. That so far has been her only down fall :( She has been in boarding since February 2026.
