Story
Hi, my name is Jordache! (But I answer to 'Hooch')My foster found me running around on a busy road and I ended up on his front doorstep. I am a big guy really loves my family and I have been having so fun with their dogs. I have the attitude of a puppy and I am very loving. I love my toys almost as much as food ??. I am very playful and can entertain myself with almost anything! My playfulness depends on other dogs' playfulness, if they're gentle, I'm gentle, if more energetic, I will match them. A larger dog might be a good idea as a companion, I love to play tug of war too!I am a very good watch dog and will definitely let you know if someone is around.I am crate and potty trained!I get excited to meet new people-everyone is a potential friend! I haven't been around children yet, though small ones might not be a good idea because of my size and accidentally knocking them down.If you're active or have a big yard, we would be a great match!I hope to find my forever family soon!.Jordache is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the $50 adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. Story
Hi! I am Freeda. I started my life living on a farm. All I had was a crate on the porch with a tarp covering it. I would always share my food with a chicken in the yard. My owner decided he didn't want me anymore and I was rescued by my new foster family.I didn't know how to do much since I had never lived in a house. Now I know how to get on a couch and bed. I'm not scared of being on a leash much anymore...except when I have to go to the Dr., then I don't want to budge! I can always tell how my people are feeling, and when they are down, I stare deep into their eyes so they know how much I love them. I love to snuggle up right beside you on the couch and the bed.Life was great for a year or so with Mom and Dad, but I don't really like other pets in the house, so my living situation became a problem. I really only want to be an only dog. I am used to cats and we are fine together. I haven't been around any children yet.I do have a bad habit of digging. Mom and dad have a fence in their backyard, and I have tried to get out before-they had to reinforce around the bottom to help keep me inside and safe.Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl? Help us to make the rest her life better than her beginning!Freeda is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Hope was left on the side of a rural road by someone she probably trusted because she sat there waiting for them to return. Of course they didn't which is so evil. Thankfully a kind lady stopped and helped her then called us. Hope is full of personality. She loves people and loves to play. A young lady at 1 yr old, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. Hope has done great with housetraining in her foster home! She doesn't give cues yet but if taken out of schedule, no accidents.Loves people more than other pups or toys, but seems fine/comfortable with other pups.Hesitant with stairs, but getting braver by the day.She is so very sweet and loving!! Loves to give hugs! ????38 lb

Story
Woof woof, folks! It's your pal, King, here to share a little piece of my journey with you. You know, life has a funny way of throwing curveballs at us, doesn't it? But hey, I'm proof that even in the darkest of times, there's always a glimmer of hope. I'm a 3-year-old boxer mix, and my name is King—I guess you could say I'm on a quest to live up to that regal title. When they found me, I was a mess, scared of my own shadow. People had done some pretty awful things to me, things I'd rather not dwell on. But I made a promise to myself: never again would anyone hurt me. I built up walls, thick and tall, to keep the world at bay. But then, something changed. Slowly but surely, the kind souls here began to chip away at those walls. It wasn't easy—I'll admit, I'm still a bit wary. But I'm learning to trust again, one treat and belly rub at a time. And you know what? I'm even learning some cool tricks along the way! Now, here's the thing: I'm ready for my next adventure, and that means finding my forever home. I think I'd do best with a single person—a true friend who understands what it's like to have a tough shell but a soft heart underneath. So, are you ready to take a chance on a scrappy guy like me? If you are, come on down and meet me. Let's see if we're a match made in heaven. #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #KingTheBoxer #ForeverHomeNeeded The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash.  A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days.  The Shelter is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Friday 10am-3pm and the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.  Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: adopt@orangeburgspca.org  April 25, 2024, 10:13 pm

She was found abandoned roaming a neighborhood and found her way to a safe space on patio. After speaking with apartment manager Someone was evicted recently for breeding dogs and apparently took the puppies and left behind the mom. She has been outside about a week she’s good with dogs and small kids she’s very loving and just looking for a good home. You can tell she an inside dog and was trained very well. She’s smart and playful once warmed up to you or another dog. Please give her a home. I wish I could I just can’t afford another dog. The neighbors and I named her Lola cause she a sweet southern bell. She is a protector for sure and just need a new lil family

Story
Royal is 5 years old and I have had Royal since she was a puppy and am absolutely heartbroken to have to give her away but due to a mandatory move into a new apartment, I cannot take her and unfortunately have no family or friends who can either. I have tried everything. Royal will make someone very happy if adopted. She would be an amazing emotional support dog. She’s loyal, trained and housebroken and absolutely loves cuddles. When you come home she is so happy and loves to talk when greeting you. She does get allergy’s during this time of year which she is on medication for. This is my last hope and I’m hoping someone special can come along and save her!!! Thank you!
