Meet RoadyMale Bull TerrierDOB: 05/03/2025ADOPTION FEE: $225.00Roady was surrendered at no fault of his own. His owner had medical issues and could not provide proper care for him. Roady is a sweet boy who automatically started playing great with Ozzy, so we already know he is dog friendly. He was not reactive to the cats when he was in our lobby. He's off to a great start showing us just how much of a good boy he can be. He will be getting up to date on vaccines and neutered very soon. So go ahead and submit your application for Roady today! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Our adoptions include a 30 Day Free Trial period with Trupanion Pet InsuranceWE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list. APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/202887123155152

Story
Previously Heartworm Positive-has had treatment. I am an older dog who has lived outside his whole life until now. I was found wandering around a starbucks and now I have been treated for Heartworm. I am a sweet boy but I cant see very well due to a Cataract in one of my eyes so I can get a little excited and am learning that nipping is not okay. I like to run and play outside. I like toys and lots of treats. Very food motivated. I need someone who can love me unconditionally during my remaining years.

Story
Meet Abby! Abby is a 'middle-aged' active gal who loves basking in the sun and snuggling on the couch on rainy days. She loves to go for the occasional car ride as well. She is very well behaved on a leash and gets along great with other dogs and cats as well. She is on a long term medication for her dry eye, but is only needed twice a day which she is very good for. She is house trained but has had some accidents when fosters have gone to work for the day. To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. For more information about CARE and to see our adoption application, go to our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org

Story
Masie was rescued when her owners got evicted , and left her with her 6 puppies on the front porch in the hot heat for 4 days, with no food or water . A passerby noticed it, and called our organization to retrieve them! They have been with the foster and got vetted ever since living a wonderful life , but it’s time she found her own home .

Story
&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Hey there, it’s Buddy—and I’ve got a tail-wagging, heart-tugging story to share... and maybe, just maybe, you’re meant to be part of it. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I came all the way from Miami, where I was on the list to be put to sleep. But some amazing humans believed in me—and gave me a second chance. Now I’m living for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and the dream of finding my forever home. Despite my past, I’ve held onto my sweet, goofy, and yes—feisty personality! I’m full of love, full of energy, and full of attitude in the best way. I’ve got spunk, charm, and just the right amount of sass to keep life exciting. Here’s what you should know about me: I was born in February 2021 and I’ve got plenty of youthful energy. I’m already neutered and ready to go! I love people and do well with medium to large dogs. I’m a social butterfly—playful, affectionate, and always ready for snacks. I’m very active, a little mouthy, and definitely feisty. I could benefit from some basic training to fine-tune my manners—but with the right person, I’ll thrive. &#226&#157&#151 I do not do well with small dogs or small animals—they’re just not my vibe. It is MANDATORY that adopters understand my breed traits and energy level. I’m not a laid-back lapdog—I’m a strong, driven pup who needs structure, play, and positive guidance. It is also MANDATORY to schedule an appointment in advance to meet me. No walk-ins. I’ve overcome so much and I know my forever home is out there—someone who gets my fire, loves my spark, and is ready for a loyal companion with tons of heart. Adoption fee includes: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Age-appropriate vaccinations & deworming &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Flea/tick & heartworm prevention &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Neuter surgery &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Collar, ID tag & leash A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold me for 5 days. To schedule your mandatory appointment or ask questions, call 803-536-3918 or email aro.spca@outlook.com.October 7, 2025, 10:45 am
