Story
Gordon is 5 years old and weighs 58 lbs. He was adopted from a shelter October 2022. My husband had dementia and wanted a dog to love. He has since passed away. Gordon was about 2 years old. No information on his first 2 years. Was completely housebroken. Has never torn up any property or trash. Loves to play tug with a toy. Is crate trained. Cannot be with other animals so needs to be the only pet. Is great with children. Loves to cuddle and thinks he is a lap dog. Has had training with reputable training facility. Has allergies so is receiving Cytapoint shots monthly. Eats special food prescribed by his vet and purchased from Chewy. Loves to ride in a car. Loves to be near his person. Can be left alone for several hours and never messes. Loves to give kisses and is very loving with people. My husband had alhitzimer and passed away last year. I am 80 years old and want to be sure he has a home in case something happens to me. I will not take him to a shelter. He is such a good dog.

This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided below.Luna is a 4-1/2 year old Bully/Bulldog Terrier mix. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. She has a sweet personality, great with infants to big kids (she is used to 5 plus kids at a time), good with other dogs (has been around a Lab and a Miniature Schnauzer daily). She loves being outside but cannot stay out all the time due to overheating and sunburning easily. The owner uses a collar with a handheld device and when you press the beeping button she comes right back to you. She follows commands: "home" to come to the front door and come inside; "sit"; "paw" to shake hands; and "bed" to get in her bed. She has only been fed Nutrish due to not upsetting her stomach. If you are interested in Luna, please contact RaeAnn Turner at turner.raeann@yahoo.com

Story
Monkey is a 3 year old pocket pitty (45 lb.) and an absolute sweetheart. We found her wandering the streets 2 years ago and no one ever claimed her. She loves humans more than anything and will show you with her intense butt wiggles. She’s very smart, eager to please, and listens well. She is playful and LOVES tug of war or ripping apart cardboard boxes. She is also happy to just cuddle with you on the couch. She likes to be by your side at all times! She is very loyal and affectionate. She is house/crate trained, good on leash, and overall just a good girl. She does best as the only pet in the home. She’s reactive toward our other dog which we believe comes from a protective instinct rather than aggression, but she needs someone who understands that. She deserves someone who will love her as much as we do!
