Masie was rescued when her owners got evicted , and left her with her 6 puppies on the front porch in the hot heat for 4 days, with no food or water . A passerby noticed it, and called our organization to retrieve them! They have been with the foster and got vetted ever since living a wonderful life , but it’s time she found her own home .

Story
Meet RoadyMale Bull TerrierDOB: 05/03/2025ADOPTION FEE: $225.00Roady was surrendered at no fault of his own. His owner had medical issues and could not provide proper care for him. Roady is a sweet boy who automatically started playing great with Ozzy, so we already know he is dog friendly. He was not reactive to the cats when he was in our lobby. He's off to a great start showing us just how much of a good boy he can be. He will be getting up to date on vaccines and neutered very soon. So go ahead and submit your application for Roady today! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Our adoptions include a 30 Day Free Trial period with Trupanion Pet InsuranceWE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Story
Meet Abby! Abby is a 'middle-aged' active gal who loves basking in the sun and snuggling on the couch on rainy days. She loves to go for the occasional car ride as well. She is very well behaved on a leash and gets along great with other dogs and cats as well. She is on a long term medication for her dry eye, but is only needed twice a day which she is very good for. She is house trained but has had some accidents when fosters have gone to work for the day. To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery.
