Story
Cici is a 40 pound-ish firecracker. She is very dog selective, so would be best in a home where she is the only one being adored. She does fine with the littles but will match and exceed their energy. She is about 2 yrs old. She was very timid/scared initially but soon settled in foster care. She is house broken and will sit for treats. Loves to have snuggles & belly rubs. She pulls a bit on leash and is not suitable for cats/small furries. We don't know what her story was before rescue, but we can imagine it based on her scars. Her new chapter started when she was rescued from a Houston Animal Shelter. Reach out if you are interested in meeting her. The application can be found at https://bullterrierclubofamericarescue.com/adoption-application-form/

Story
Cammie is fostered in Glenwood, AR. She is a 6-year-old Bull Terrier with a heart as big as her adorable, kissable face. This sweet girl is a champion cuddler who adores slow walks, plenty of kisses, and lounging in the comfort of air conditioning. If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing companion to share your days, Cammie is ready to be your loyal best friend. Cammie is spayed, microchipped, and both crate and house-trained. She’s got the manners of a lady and is great with kids—her gentle nature and funny habit of ear-nibbling make her a hit with little ones! While she hasn’t been tested with cats, her low prey drive suggests she’d rather save her energy for the important things in life: squeaky toys, naps by the fire, and lots of love.

Story
River is Ready to Find Her Forever Family! Meet River, a sweet and spunky bull terrier who’s ready to begin her next chapter—with a forever family to call her own! Recently, River is recovering beautifully from her spay and has been thriving in her foster home. River is around 4 years old and weighs 37lbs. Here’s what makes River so special: • Dog-friendly: Though a little shy at first, River slowly warms up and enjoys being part of the pack. • Balanced energy: She loves fetch, backyard adventures, and the occasional zoomies but is also happy with shorter walks and quiet downtime. • Well-mannered: She’s kennel trained, knows “sit,” has patience to wait for a meal in front of her until given the command, and responds well to positive reinforcement. • Curious and playful: River’s quirky personality will keep you entertained—she’s picky with toys but loves experimenting with treats (carrots, anyone?). • Adaptable and affectionate: River enjoys new experiences and bonds well with her people. While River is great with people, her playful style makes her better suited to a home without small children. She hasn’t had much exposure to cats and may do best in a cat-free environment unless introductions are slow and carefully managed. River is currently in Spring, TX, and is available for adoption through the Rescue Welfare Trust Fund of The Bull Terrier Club of America. If you’re ready to welcome this funny, curious, and lovable girl into your life, please fill out an application so we can better get to know you. River is ready to meet her forever family—could it be you?

Story
Barnabus was surrendered to a shelter in TX. He was terrified there always hiding his head. A foster stepped up and we were able to get him out that scared place. He is now doing better but still is very slow trusting humans. The foster believes he must have been hit or beaten by a human, even if she just lifts her arm to adjust her sun glasses while out doors he cowers and hits the ground. He LOVES dogs, this is his SAFE place. He must go to a home with friendly dogs and a patient human that will give him time to learn that he will not be hurt.

Story
It is with a heavy heart that I share the need to find a new forever home for my beloved dog, Beau. Due to my severe allergies to his fur and saliva , very long work hours, and his needing of more space I can no longer provide the care and attention he deserves. About Beau: Age: 1 year 7 months. Birthday : Oct 18th. Temperament: Affectionate, energetic, loyal Health:Up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered Training: potty trained knows basic commands, kennel trained. He needs a home where he can be outside a lot. Loves to run and play with people and other dogs. Very friendly and happy all the time. He’s very loving , affectionate and a really big baby. Always wanting attention or to play. He needs a loving family. I live in a small apartment and I’m always working . He’s too energetic to be in a cage all day . It’s making him depressed. The only reason why I don’t know if he’s house trained is because I never have him outside of his cage when I’m gone. I do have more photos and videos
