Drako is 2 years old and was adopted from PetSmart. He is a very sweet, gentle, and loving dog. He can be shy at first, but once he warms up, he becomes very affectionate and loyal. He loves car rides, playing with other dogs, and going to the dog park. He currently lives with another small dog and they get along very well. Drako is very docile, house-trained, and does great with his routine. He goes outside to use the bathroom and is usually very quick about it. I am looking for a loving home where he can receive more attention and companionship, as my busy work schedule and frequent travel make it difficult for me to give him the time he deserves. My biggest priority is finding him a caring home where he will be loved and well cared for.

Reggie has made steady progress in foster care and continues to build confidence as he adjusts to life in a home. He is fully house-trained, crate-trained, quiet in the home, and settles well after activity. Foster describes him as calm, curious, and affectionate, noting that while he is still learning how to fully relax indoors, he clearly enjoys staying close to his people and is becoming a `Velcro dog.` He walks exceptionally well on leash without pulling, has shown no resource guarding or concerning behaviors, and has not displayed any aggression in the foster home. Reggie is still learning basic commands and can be timid in new situations, with loud noises and unfamiliar places making him a little nervous. Foster reports that his playful, goofy personality is beginning to emerge as he becomes more comfortable and secure.

Meet Corndog, a sweet, cuddly, and endlessly affectionate 10-month-old puppy who doesn’t have a single mean bone in his body. He is pure love and puppy joy, obsessed with chasing balls, working on chew toys, and curling up right next to me once playtime is over. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, already knowing commands like sit, place, "park the dog," and responding reliably to yes and no. We are truly heartbroken to let him go, but our older resident dog recently tore his CCL in his knee and requires strict rest and medical recovery after surgery. Due to the pain, our older dog has become reactive toward Corndog, forcing us to keep them completely separated for weeks on end. It breaks our hearts that Corndog simply cannot get the active lifestyle, running room, and daily enrichment he needs and deserves while living behind baby gates. He has so much incredible potential and just needs a patient, active individual or family who can match his playful energy.

We have had Buster since a puppy and does good with my children. He can get over excited and does have heavy paws that hurt. He is not normally good around strangers so we need an adopter that has patience and can work with him while he gets to know you. My oldest two children have left the home and he does not get the attention he needs. He definitely does not do good with cats.

We adopted Tessa a few months ago from the shelter. She’s 1 yr old and full of energy. She loves to play with her toys and her humans. We’ve been working on leash training and she’s doing better! She’s potty trained and uses puppy pads if necessary. She’s very smart. I also have a couple of smaller dogs and while she’s beginning to do more floor play with them she still gets too rough when she’s very excited. If left out of the kennel while we are gone she will tear stuff up. I think she would do well with someone who has time to train her because she is still very young. And possibly no small dogs unless the person knows how to train her to play more safely. I really do not want her going back to the shelter.
