Story
Lola came into the shelter as a stray on 7/18. She’s a friendly, social girl who enjoys petting and spending time with people. Lola can be a bit eager at first and tends to pull on leash at the start of a walk, but she settles in nicely once she gets going. She’s also shown to be dog-friendly and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion ready to find her forever home.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Remy is 5 years old, birthday is January 2021. He has been around another dog and my two boys his entire life. He is quite loving and sweet. He does not realize he is a big dog, which is cute to me, but is something that you should be aware of as he can be kind of clumsy. My husband and I both have very busy schedules with long hours at work and both kiddos playing sports directly after (unfortunately, not something we anticipated when bringing Remy home as a small puppy). We would just like to rehome him to a place that could give him the love and attention he needs because we are unable to right now. We know that you may need a kennel and food bowls and we would love to donate those if needed. Please reach out if you are interested.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Blu is a sweet girl she just needs patience. When I got her she was abused so she is sensitive. Shes never bitten or anything but if backed into a corner and scared she will snap. Shes is my baby girl ive watched her overcome obstacles and grow. She does bark when she hears someone coming to the door or backyard area. She is house trained but does need a lot of playtime. She has been an outside dog, and she does dig. Sometimes you may see her limp ive been told that she is ok. She does not do it all the time just sometimes. I do not think she will be good with other animals, she is good with her brother and sister but shes been around them since she was a puppy I would love for her and her brother (the other pitbull) to be able to be rehomed together, because they are attached. I also do nothing believe she would do well with kids because she doesnt like to be poked and pulled on. If possible I would like to keep in touch with whoever decideds to add them to their family.

American Pit Bull Terrier

Male, Senior
Fort Worth, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This sweet, loyal boy is looking for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his senior years with stability and care. He is fully potty trained and knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, and roll over. He has a gentle nature and is very affectionate with people he trusts. He has been a devoted companion, especially to my mom who is blind, showing how attentive and emotionally intuitive he can be. Due to work demands and now living in an apartment, it has become difficult to give him the time, outdoor space, and daily walks he truly deserves. He has not had much exposure to other dogs or children, so his compatibility with them is unknown. A home willing to do slow introductions would be ideal. He would thrive with someone who can walk him regularly, give him treats, attention, and make him feel included as part of the family. This decision was made out of love and responsibility, with the hope of finding him a home where he can get the exercise, care, and affection he needs.
