Alpine is sure a unique-looking young boy; he is thought to possibly be a Bull Terrier Mix?? He’s estimated to be about 50 lbs. His estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Alpine is a typical young pup, very energetic and playful. He likes to jump and can sometimes forget himself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…he is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family he so deserves.. Alpine likes playing with other dogs; he’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. However because of his high energy level, he may be too much for another dog, and be happy as an only dog, with an active family and possibly older kids to keep him busy and active! An ideal family for Alpine is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Alpine to be the best version of himself! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. But he’d be great as an only dog too!! Alpine is crate-trained and housebroken. He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is neutered and microchipped. Story
Hi! My name is Jersey, and I’m a young guy looking for a family who will love me and help me blossom into the amazing dog I know I can be. My life didn’t start out very easy, I was found emaciated and spent two weeks at a shelter in Milwaukee before Best Paws Rescue gave me a second chance. Now I’m living the good life in my foster home, and wow… I LOVE it here! There are so many toys, comfy beds for naps, and regular meals that are helping me get healthy and strong. I’ve recently discovered that cuddle time is pretty awesome, and my foster dad says I’m well on my way to becoming a professional snuggler. I’m a very sweet boy who loves toys and enjoys being around people and other dogs. I really want to play with my foster dog sibling. I’m just still learning how to ask and figuring out dog manners and social cues. I’m not mean or aggressive at all, just a little inexperienced and eager to learn. I’m still working on potty training, but I’m making progress. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, which my foster parents really appreciate. I’ve also met cats! I was curious and wanted to play, but I respected them when they hissed and swatted. Such good feedback, right Because I’m young and enthusiastic, I could do well with children as long as parents understand I might accidentally knock little ones over and can get a bit mouthy when excited (I do listen well to correction). With continued socialization and training, I have all the potential to become an incredible companion. All in all, Jersey has had a rough start, but he’s incredibly loving, eager to learn, and ready for a family who will help him build confidence and continue showing him how good life can be. Requirements: Children 5 years and Older All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match.
