Story
Alpine is sure a unique-looking young boy; he is thought to possibly be a Bull Terrier Mix?? He’s estimated to be about 50 lbs. His estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Alpine is a typical young pup, very energetic and playful. He likes to jump and can sometimes forget himself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…he is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family he so deserves.. Alpine likes playing with other dogs; he’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. However because of his high energy level, he may be too much for another dog, and be happy as an only dog, with an active family and possibly older kids to keep him busy and active! An ideal family for Alpine is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Alpine to be the best version of himself! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. But he’d be great as an only dog too!! Alpine is crate-trained and housebroken. He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is neutered and microchipped. Story
Meet Jersey - his story didn’t start out easy. He came into a local shelter as a cruelty case — painfully thin, covered in irritated skin from being left to sit in his own urine for days. But despite everything he’s been through, Jersey never stopped being sweet. With proper care, good food, and lots of love, he has made a full recovery and is now thriving in foster care. Today, Jersey is all about the good life. He loves being part of a family, soaking up attention, and curling up for cuddles. He’s crate trained, doing great with potty training, and is very food motivated (which makes continued training a breeze!). He’s also a wonderful house guest — quiet in his kennel at night and hardly ever barks. Jersey has a mild energy level overall, but when he gets the zoomies, watch out — he’s like a bull in a China shop in the most adorable way possible. He’s wonderful with other dogs and does well with kids, though because of his enthusiastic zoomies, a home with children 5 and older would be best. He is very interested in cats and wants to play, but he doesn’t quite understand that most cats don’t share his excitement. He’s not aggressive at all — he would just do best in a home without cats, or with very dog-savvy cats who will confidently correct him. Jersey has overcome more than most dogs ever should, and he deserves a lifetime of love to make up for it. He’s goofy, affectionate, resilient, and ready to be someone’s very best friend.
