Story
Ellie is one of the sweetest most lovable, most playful, best trained dogs I've ever had! My husband does not want a dog and he is with her for the majority of the day because I work out of town. He cannot watch her and she is busy! 1) leash trained and heels. She sits automatically when you want to put on/take off the leash. 2) she is amazing with going to the bathroom. We have 1.8 acres, she goes to the bathroom and comes right back. She does not bark though, so you need to keep checking the door. She never ever runs after squirrels or birds or out of the yard. We walked the perimeter with her for 3 days and she has never gone out of the yard. 1x when she went toward the road I said, "hey" low and firm and she came right back. 3) she loves kisses; hugs; playing; wrestling; running! 4) crate trained; sleeps 7-8 hrs at night. 5) needs "a job," lots of energy, needs to be with people or chews everything, gets into the garbage, loves eating toys! 6) very sensitive to loud voices.

Story
Kaia is an AMAZING dog & a perfect pet in many ways. It's truly heartbreaking that she is not a good fit for our family. We ADORE Kaia but regrettably we need to rehome her. Our standard poodle loves her; however, over time, we learned that Kaia SHOULD be the ONLY dog in a household. She respects her humans & wants to please. Kaia is smart, obedient & trainable, knows several commands, and is kennel trained. Enjoys the dog park, runs like crazy, & plays well with other dogs in that neutral setting. Thrives on enrichment activities & frequent exercise. A fenced yard is best. When it's time to relax & just hang out, Kaia is a master at that too. She likes snuggles & to just "BE" with her people. Kaia has been friendly to kids; however, we have none. She's strong and gets excited when you return home. Have her meet kids first. Kaia has met cats briefly and seemed ok. Microchipped. Genetic info available: mainly Amer. Pitbull Terrier & Redbone Coonhound. Please love her as we do!

Story
I adopted Peanut at 6 months from the Humane Society. Not much is known about the first 6 months of her life. She was found on the street with the likelihood that she was in dog fighting rings. She is very energetic, loves to cuddle (thinks she’s a lap dog!), is very food motivated, loving, and adapts well to changes. She is great with my niece, who is a toddler. She is currently on behavior modification medicine to support her aggression towards other dogs. I’ve had Peanut for more than 2 years, and honestly would love to keep her, but I got her originally with an ex, and she needs more attention than I can give her on my own. She would flourish in an area with a fenced-in backyard, away from other dogs, with two people to support her energetic lifestyle.

Story
Do we have a truck driver friend who needs a dog? Or someone who's home almost all the time?.  Alexis-Marie is looking for her forever she's super sweet and loves to be with her person. She pretty much doesn't move much from the couch unless it's time to eat or she wants outside. She does fine with kids but kids that are very rambunctious and loud (like ours) make her a little nervous she's not mean or anything she just stays in her spot and watches what they're doing. We feel she would be best as an only dog. She would probably be ok with another dog in the house if it's a complete lazy bones dog like she is. she doesn't like other dogs in her face to much but she's fine if they're laying across the room or the other side of the couch. She seemed to do okay with cats but... The only time we've ever seen her run was when a cat ran... So if the cat is a teaser probably wouldn't be a good idea. She either doesn't like kennels or just wants to be with... She does sleep in her kennel at night thats in our bedroom. But when we try to kennel her and leave the house she managed to escape the kennel. If you've ever felt one of those naked cats or hairless dogs. That's what she currently feels like her skin and coat have been slowly getting better since coming to us. She kinda feel like velvet she loves to snuggle and give kisses. She's smaller then her pics make her look. She's currently 45 pounds she's gained 14 pounds since coming to Wisconsin and is a little muscle meatball. She walks well on a leash and hasn't had any potty accidents in our home. If you're looking to add this hunk of love to your couch please let us know. ##1645530##
