Think “adventurer who still wants a cuddle break.”Training & HandlingCash knows sit, shake, down, and his name, and he takes treats gently (jerky is a favorite!). He’s very tolerant of handling and does great for vet care and vaccinations—even if he needs an extra set of hands because he just can’t stop wiggling. He leans into his people for affection and clearly enjoys being loved on.Leash SkillsCash is easy to leash and eager to get moving—but fair warning: he’s strong and still working on his leash manners. He pulls and can be very focused on his surroundings, so a confident handler and some continued leash training will help him shine. A darling chunk of asymmetrical charm! Honey has one short ear, and one blue and one hazel eye. An easy walking, dog friendly gal! Mellow and charismatic, she soaks up the love, and is looking for a loving home with caring people that are savvy with XL breeds and can give her the attention she craves, some training and consistency, keep up with social activities, and there will be lots of joy to be shared! Notes from her current foster; Honey is a big ole love once she’s comfortable. She has one short ear, big paws and one blue eye that will just melt your heart. She loves other dogs, zoomies in the yard, toys to chew on (supervised so she doesn’t eat them whole) kids, snuggling on the couch or on a bed with her foster brother. She loves to go on walks but she is strong so we are working on slowing down. She is great in the car and settles down quickly. She is a goofy girl with puppy energy who would thrive in a home with her humans around or a dog friend to keep her company plus consistency. Come and meet this sweet girl!

Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1100628651741940 Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands.
