Finley was surrendered to our shelter on 1/15/26 because his previous owner said they had no time for him. We were told he is a mix of Cane Corso and Bullmastiff. Finley is a sweet guy who can be a bit shy when he first meets someone, but after a proper introduction, he becomes quite outgoing and silly! Because of his initial shyness though, we are currently recommending that he go to a home without children. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). His neuter surgery will be sponsored! ** Finley would do best in a home without children ** ## See video of Finley at the end of the photo gallery! ## TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/ Finley’s Shelter ID# is 88727. He is an approximately 1-year-old, brindle, Bullmastiff/Cane Corso mix. He currently weighs around 75 lbs. He has already been vaccinated and will be microchipped and neutered before going to his new home. A darling chunk of asymmetrical charm! Honey has one short ear, and one blue and one hazel eye. An easy walking, dog friendly gal! Mellow and charismatic, she soaks up the love, and is looking for a loving home with caring people that are savvy with XL breeds and can give her the attention she craves, some training and consistency, keep up with social activities, and there will be lots of joy to be shared! Notes from her current foster; Honey is a big ole love once she’s comfortable. She has one short ear, big paws and one blue eye that will just melt your heart. She loves other dogs, zoomies in the yard, toys to chew on (supervised so she doesn’t eat them whole) kids, snuggling on the couch or on a bed with her foster brother. She loves to go on walks but she is strong so we are working on slowing down. She is great in the car and settles down quickly. She is a goofy girl with puppy energy who would thrive in a home with her humans around or a dog friend to keep her company plus consistency. Come and meet this sweet girl!

Story
Romeo is very sweet 6 year old boy but the vets think he may be younger. He would love to be a family dog and definitely wants to find his forever home, but can be protective of his people and his space. That being said once he knows you are part of the family he listens very well and knows many commands, sit, stay, down, shake, wait. He is slow to warm up to new people but once he has been introduced to you he is a gentle giant and big couch potato that loves to cuddle. He also really enjoys going for a ride in the car. It is not recommended to have young kids due to his size. He is good on the leash and knows many commands but needs someone that is not afraid of his size and can properly handle him. Experienced adopter with larger breeds is a must. No other dogs or animals in the household and not a good candidate for crates.
