Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. My name is Sterling and I am a beautiful silvery gray in color. I am also 'good as GOLD', so say my foster parents! I have a nice appetite, stay slim and active around the house, and use my litter box and scratching post well. I PLAY A LOT!!! I may come sit on your lap or lie on your chest for a few minutes, but then I, being an independent guy, will leave and go play with one of my toys! I entertain myself very well as I am the only cat in my foster home. I do live with a small dog and we co-exist well. I started out life in a rather rough place. I was left at a shelter in rural Kansas with bilateral entropion (a condition where eyelids turn in and chronically irritate the eyes, sometimes with smaller than typical eyes). The kind people at the shelter performed surgery to correct this. With follow up care here from Kitty City and medications for my eyes and ears that I will require indefinitely, I am feeling much better. I open my eyes all the way now although I am visually impaired. I have adjusted well. I also had all my teeth removed as my mouth/remaining teeth were in terrible condition. But no problem! I eat both canned and dry food without difficulty and I LOVE Temptations treats! They say I am a Special Needs Cat, and I definitely am SPECIAL. Everyone who meets me says so!!! Sterling was born approximately June 1, 2020, and his adoption fee is $125, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend! You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.
