Story
This cat was abandoned by my door and I adopted him. I took him to the vet and he tested positive for FIV. I believe he prefers to be an only cat, and I recommend having him on a harness and leash if taken outside since cats with FIV shouldn't be outdoor cats to reduce risk of spread of the virus. I need to rehouse him because I'm struggling financially. He is very friendly to humans, but he needs alone time and personal space.

Story
Jan is about 5 years old, and full of many things; spice, charm, potential, energy, mischief, and love. We took Jan in from a friend who could not manage her aggressive behavior, about two years ago. We expected to be catching a hand grenade, but instead all we got was a feisty cat. Jan needs to be rehomed due to some household changes, and a reduced capacity to manage her behavior with our other cats. While she's made great progress, becoming better with people and other cats, we are no longer able to help her improve. Maybe you can! Jan needs LOTS of play and exercise to be at her best! She also gets overstimulated easily and needs 'time-outs' (where she is coaxed to a safe place by herself to cool off). She is highly food-motivated, which makes redirecting her and rewarding her easier. She has a sweet side, too! Patting my leg to ask for butt pets while she eats kibble, greeting us in the morning, snuggling with her favorite person. I hope you can keep showing her how to be soft

Story
🐾 Meet Boone 🐾 Boone is currently accepting applications for the role of Patient Human With Snacks. This handsome guy is one of those special kitties who just needs someone willing to let him bloom at his own pace. And trust us... he’s already come so far in his foster home. Boone may not be ready for the whole “picked up and carried like royalty” experience yet, but he is ready to quietly steal your heart. He now walks right up to his foster mom for love and affection, often leaning against her leg like a fuzzy little side hug to let her know, “Hey... I like you a lot.” 🥹 Boone is also a certified animal socialite. He loves other cats and even gets along wonderfully with his foster family’s dog. Basically, Boone likes everyone... as long as everyone respects personal space and possibly brings treats. And speaking of treats... Boone is extremely food motivated. The path to this shy boy’s heart is paved with snacks, dinner bowls, and the gentle crinkle of a treat bag. If you open a can of food, expect sudden confidence. Boone doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone kind, patient, and willing to let friendship happen on Boone Time™. 📧 Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com to meet this sweet boy. 📣 Please share and help Boone find the understanding home he deserves! 🐾
