Story
I got Hendrix when she was about eight months old from my daughter. She was not getting along with my daughter‘s dogs. She’s very sweet, but she can also be very sassy. She seems to get along fine with male cats. She is not getting along with my other female cat currently. She used to I don’t know what happened. They growl and fight. She’s not living her best life as she’s always seems to be on guard. She has started to pee outside the litter box I believe because of the conflict. She has been checked medically, and there are no issues. The vet has cleared her. She likes to sleep with me and she likes being pet and cuddled, but on her own terms.

Story
Emmy was adopted as a kitten from a home caring for many stray cats. She was the adorable runt with big, silent eyes, and a cute squeak; I fell in love right away. Emmy is a very quirky cat. She has a shrill meow. When she’s hungry, she makes a cartoonish teething sound while rubbing her face against a corner. She shows her affection via vibrating and moving, and doesn’t tend to stay still or lie in laps for long. She stares at ceilings for long periods of time randomly. She has no curiosity for the outdoors whatsoever. She does have some normal cat things: the zoomies, exploring boxes, catnip, hiding under beds, being on a tall cat tree, etc. As Embyr’s gotten older, she’s struggled more and more to acclimate to other cats both previously existing in and newer to the home. It’s gotten to the point where we hope to rehome her. We believe she would be a great companion as a single cat.

Story
Dear Human, Thank you for looking at my profile. My life has not always been easy but I want to continue living with a special human in my final years. I'm worried because I'm an older cat that no-one will want to take me. :( I know there's a lot of cute kittens out there but don't forget about us senior ones. I have the biggest heart and want someone that likes a cuddly, sweet cat who enjoys letting me lay on your lap and giving you purrs. I'm fully vaccinated and neutered. I was rescued 3 years ago from a house full of college-aged non cat lovers who didn’t take good care of me. I was sad that I peed in their stove burners because I didn't even have a litter box or a person to call my own. :( That was a hard part of my life. I felt abandoned and alone without human connection. Fast forward to now. I'm better and in a wonderful home for 3 years but unfortunately my mom moved out of the country and felt it was best to stay here due to my age and live out my final years. Moving a pet out of the country is not easy and this was a very difficult decision. I'm currently with a foster and am being cared for til I find my right person. As far as my personality goes..I love to sit on your lap and cuddle all the time! I spend most of my time sleeping or perching out the window watching birds and squirrels. I LOVE all people and will start purring as soon as you pick me up. Unfortunately, I need to be the only cat in the house. I can get stressed out with other cats and don't like sharing time with my human. But, I love kids! I would like a home where my new owner will spend lots of time with me. If you're still reading this and I didn't scare you away then I'd like to see if this would be a good fit. There's a $40 adoption fee to make sure I go to a good home. Help me find a sweet, loving home for Noodle. He deserves the best and just needs to find his special human to call family. Emails only please. Contact Heather. catsonthehorizon@gmail.com
