Story
CRAVES SNUGGLES  DOB 1/19/22 Introducing Serena, a petite little ball of love with brownish black fur and golden eyes. This cutie loves snuggling and, while not shy, is somewhat reserved in nature. She gladly keeps to herself but craves snuggling up to you. Serena would make a perfect emotional support companion in a quiet household. HOPE ID 23-1219-G371 If you are interested in Serena and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.rescued from a colonyHi there!!   I'm BINX and a black kitty and I had a rough beginning cause my mom was feral.   My sibling that protected me was killed one night.   The next morning I went up to the kind human who fed us, and meowed and meowed until I got her attention.   Now - ferals don't meow but for some reason I knew it was the only way.   It worked and she knew something was wrong cause I was alone.   Eventually she took me to a rescue person, and they both worked with me to socialize me!!!   I worked REALLY REALLY hard and one day I took the chance and didn't run from them!!!  I'm learning to trust humans better every day.    Now I let her pet me and from that point on it just got better and better!!  I love to play with the wand with the feather and bat balls around and run in and out of the kitty tunnel ...and best of all...fall asleep in her lap!!   I also mew when I see my foster mom to let her know I am glad to see her.  Then she picks me up and loves on me and carries me around while she does stuff.  I found out I love being cuddled like that.  So now since I'm a success story (hehe), mom says I'm ready for my forever home!!My promise to you is that I'll be your friend and be there when you're sad or lonely.   I promise to be your furever companion as long as I live!  So, if you want to meet me, you can fill out an adoption application online and my foster mom will call you for a meet and greet in Cypress, Texas!   Soon I'll be at the PetSmart on 290 and Spring Cypress on Saturdays and you can visit me there, also.   Can't wait to meet you!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 24, 2024, 3:32 pm

Story
Pumpkin is a little shy guy. He is sweet as he can be but prefers to stay on the perimeter. He allows all of the kittens to eat first since there is always plenty of food for him. When he was in a crate he would approach the food and enjoy some head scratches and petting as he ate. Outside the crate he is like a bystander. He gets along with all of the kittens. He is in my foster room so it's hard to say what he will be like in an environment with fewer kittens,

Story
"Apollo is bit shy at first, but warms up to a reassuring slow petting on one's lap on a towel or in a cat bed, as he relaxes and spreads out. Then you hear a quiet purr, as you stroke his temples, his chin, and then his tummy. He is a solid gray Russian Blue 4-month-old male from a litter of 4 kittens born in April to a neighborhood mother regularly fed at one house. He prefers a quiet low cubbyhole to look out at the world and come out after his more outgoing sisters. He comes out cautiously when he hears the cat food can lid or kibble in a dish, but feel free to reach down and pick him up to pet him on a soft lap. He is working hard to overcome his shyness, both with people and other more playful kittens. He still likes to play with toys and balls, but mainly in privacy (or the bathtub) in his favorite spot or with his siblings. He has already been neutered, and his combo test was negative. He is ready to move to a quiet home that will continue to reassure him with petting and build his trust, perhaps with his twin brother, or a sibling sister who helps encourage him.

Story
SASHA is the most chill cat you will meet. She is content doing anything you want except sitting in your lap. But she will join you on the sofa. She can hardly wait for her daily brushing and scratching. Sasha lived a quiet life until her family's aging left her alone. She hasn't missed a beat settling in with her new arrangement. Sasha's had excellent preventative vet care including biannual dental cleanings and requisite care, regular testing, vaccinations, and bi-monthly claw trimming. We welcomed Sasha from the family's daughter who lives in the UK. We dashed her off to the vet for a complete examination and senior blood panel. The doctor estimated her to be 12 years old. She's always lived as an only cat but isn't aggressive to other cats if they allow her space. She hasn't lived with children so they should be older and able to respect Sasha's needs. She is easy going and enjoys laying in a sunny window. Sasha is young enough to jump on the sofa next to you and old enough not to climb your curtains. Please consider this elegant lady if you are looking for a calm older cat. Sasha is ready to experience the love and devotion of people in her life once again. Won't you be part of sharing your love with her? Ask about our "senior for a senior" discount (FREE!) or our regular senior cat discount. Complete our no-obligation application to trigger a volunteer familiar with Sasha to reach out to you promptly. https://www.Shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PALC/cat
