Story
Alvin, TX: Van Gogh was trapped and taken to a vet who cut half his ear off, instead of a tip, which is common practice for TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release). After recovery he was released. Weeks later he not only came to eat, but he came for attention. He is one of the friendliest, most loving - kitties ever. We want to give a black cat with 1/2 ear chopped off a chance. A chance at a good life! He will soon be available for ADOPTION! He is a talker! He rolls on his back for tummy rubs! He loves his ears to be rubbed and to be brushed. He also makes biscuits while in your lap! He's about a year old. Neutered, chipped and current on vaccines. Inside only. Van Gogh deserves a home of his own! Fill out application linked below to meet this sweet baby boy! https://www.forgottenpetadvocates.com/cat-adoption.../September 3, 2025, 8:03 pm

EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds.  Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 Indy's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Indy will be this weekend, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. DEMANDS ENDLESS HOURS OF LOVING ATTENTION  DOB 1/11/23 Hey everyone! I’m Tomm, a very quiet, calm, and handsome – if I do say so myself – 12-pound Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and big golden-globe eyes. I’m one of those Velcro boys who loves to stick close to Foster Meowmy where I can demand endless hours of gentle stroking and loving ear-scritches. My brothers Jerry, Jax, and I, a.k.a. #3-mousketeers, were less than a year old when we showed up as homeless strays in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. Initially she trapped, neutered, and released us. After about a year of feeding us, when her last foster kitten had been adopted, she decided that, with a little time and patience, we’d make wonderful indoor companion pets. It did take a while for her to earn my trust, but once she did (thanks to treat rewards!), I’m now all hers!! Boy howdy! With 20-20 hindsight, I much prefer brimming food/ water bowls and climate-controlled indoor life. My foster home is like an oasis from battling Houston’s derechos, hurricanes, and winter storms. The hardscrabble outdoor life is for the birds! I have some catching-up to do as a young adult fella because playing with toys is an all-new adventure for me! But I’ll get there! Could you be the next person who snakes the wand-toy around the room for me to chase or waves it over my head to lunge at? Or perhaps you have a tower of balls to enrapture me? Catnip mice and crinkle balls for me to display my talents as a soccer striker? Then I’m the man for you! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with Jax. He’s shy and initially fearful, but, as his BFF, I help make him feel safe. Arrange to meet me (and Jax, for that matter!) today! I can’t wait to meet you! HOPE ID 25-0110-M011 Tomm's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. SHINY PATENT-LEATHER COAT AND COPPER-PENNY EYES  DOB 9/7/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mark, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes. I’m a Velcro kitty who's very attached to my hoomans and adore spending quality time with them – whether it’s cuddling or following them around to help with their chores. Innately curious, I explore every nook and cranny around my foster home. A Good Samaritan spotted some apartment kids playing with my sister Peace and me when we were just two weeks old. She snatched us away from the kids and brought us to Foster Meowmy, who tag-teamed with other HOPE volunteers to bottle-feed us day and night until we were weaned. Being handled so much while I was young helped me to love and trust hoomans so much. I grew up to be a healthy, happy little boy who tumbles and pounces, climbs and wrestles with my sister Peace as well as the half-dozen other foster kittens who are all about my age. Plus the adult resident cats served as my surrogate aunts and uncles because they taught me everything momma would've taught me if she'd been around. Now I’m ready to bring my winsome friendliness and loyal companionship to bless my forever family. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, consider adopting me with my sister Peace. Or just ask Foster Meowmy if you can take your pick of another of her half-dozen foster kittens. Although I’m available separately, I think it’d be the cat’s meow if another kitten I already know could be my playmate and cuddle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 25-1026-G261 Mark’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. GOES WILD OVER CATNIP  DOB 8/3/19 Hey there, everyone! I’m Pancake, a sweet, affectionate, and cuddly Bombay mix fella with coper-penny eyes who loves to snuggle either in Foster Meowmy’s lap or against her thigh as we binge on Netflix together. It’s so relaxing for her gently to massage all over my body, and I’ll hang out with her as long as she’s willing to pet me. I even enjoy belly rubs, which is unusual for a cat. I overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone recently, “Pancake is a gentleman in every way.” I guess you’d say that I’m a Gentle Giant because I’m extra-large, but the way I look at it, you’ve just got more to hug! Despite my plus-size, I’m somewhat playful, and catnip makes me go crazy!! My brother Waffle and I find ourselves homeless through no fault of our own. We had been happily living with the lady who adopted us as kittens, but unfortunately, when she passed, her husband felt unequipped to care for us alone. Thank heavens HOPE stepped in and found us a foster meowmy to cherish us like our first meowmy until we can find another home. Now I’m ready to bring my gentle, loving disposition and friendly “hulk” to cuddle with my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today. Although Waffle and I are available separately, if you’re looking for a pair of affectionate gents, please consider adopting us together. We can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation, and with Waffle and Pancake in your family, you’ll never be hungry at breakfast again! HOPE ID 25-0704-G176 Pancake’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jupiter, a sweet, loving, and very playful Bombay mix gal with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat who can be a little shy at times. I have a little ritual every morning in that I come to Foster Meowmy for love and cuddles. Although a lot of my siblings like to be held tummy-up like a baby, I prefer for Foster Meowmy to hold me to her chest with my paws over her shoulder. And whereas my siblings seem to love being held endlessly, I start nibbling on Foster Meowmy if she holds me too long! After my feral momma birthed Karma, Jupiter, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but I’m usually the mastermind who comes up with the most ingenious way to escape our foster bathroom and lead my siblings behind me. And once I am loose in the house, I’m very good at hiding so Foster Meowmy can’t return me to the bathroom. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my “snips-and-snails-and-puppydog-tails” boyishness and rowdy playfulness to my forever family. Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Story
Pumpkin is a beautiful light orange tabby now 1-3/4 years old. He grew up with kittens around him, and is still very playful, especially with loose shoelace-thickness or drawstring'-pants elastic ties, and even old Covid-mask elastic! He digs them out of a sewing bag, carry them, and then toss them in the air. In his foster home, he has three playmates who share his passion, and even groom each other. He gets along with multiple cats in his foster home, with no quarrels from any. He loves Churu lickable treats, and when in the kitchen, he likes to be petted in long single strokes on his neck and back when being fed. He knows his name, and comes when patting your thighs. He loves to do figure-8s or pass-throughs of your legs, especially if wearing flannel or cotton cloth pants - and you can pet him then, too. He does not and NEVER has liked being picked up, and won't be changing his mind on that. Others trying it made him shy to outstretched hands or fast approaches. Pet him with all his 4 feet on the ground, and you stand still. He loves cat tree nests, perches, cat beds, and window sills. Pumpkin had 3-year Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV vaccines , is FIV/FeLV negative for disease, and on regular flea preventive. He is very healthy, and not a picky eater. Story
Meet Mister and Peppers — two sweet, affectionate brothers looking for a loving forever home. Both boys are up to date on shots, neutered, healthy, and very well cared for. They’ve been together since they were 6 weeks old, born on June 12, 2024, and have grown into calm, playful companions who adore kids, toys, and attention. Mister is white with black spots, and Peppers is a handsome black tuxedo — both with beautiful green eyes and gentle personalities. They love to be groomed and have such cool, loving temperaments that make them wonderful family cats. It truly breaks my heart to rehome them, but I’m currently in recovery and can’t keep them where I live. I know there’s a good family out there who will cherish these two sweet brothers as much as I have.I am also Willy to give a donation towards whatever cause helps with things like this I know there is more cats then homes and pray they get a good home .
