Story
If you have a dog-shaped hole in your heart, consider filling it with Hendrix. This very sweet, handsome scruff-muppet is a bit shy and unsure of what's going on right now. Change can be so confusing! But sweet Hendrix can't wait to come out of his shell and cozy up in your gentle, loving arms forever and ever. Here's some notes from his foster: Hendrix is already housebroken! He is extremely comfortable around other dogs. He has a good appetite and loves to go on walks. He has no problem getting around, he is very physically agile. Seems to like a crate. He has been very quiet.

Story
Baby Gorgeous, a long-limbed terrier mix with a future in modeling, is definitely gorgeous. At 10 years old she isn't exactly a baby, but her downy scruff, untamed topknot and wide-eyed innocence all add up to a strong puppy vibe. She mixes well with doggos of all ages and gentle humans ready to wait a beat before sweeping her into their arms. Not a big deal if you consider the reward. When this love crumpet gets comfy, she's a snuggly companion loyal and true. Visit with an open heart and she'll nest there, a true friend and willing accomplice for future adventures. Here some notes from her fosters: Baby Gorgeous is doing great. She is now reliably going potty outside at the dog park (she likes the "grass" fake but with the good smells to indicate that that is where all the other dogs are peeing). She is eating well. Initially she was a little skittish, but she is still getting used to walking on leash, and interacting with other easy going dogs. I think she would prefer a quiet neighborhood to live in.

Story
Looks like: Cairn Terrier Mix Male, 8 years old (estimated), 20 pounds Blarney is looking for just a wee bit of luck to help him hop into his forever home! This darling little fellow has a heart of pure gold! This little terrier boy is 100% energizer bunny! Blarney is a go-go-go type of dog! He would be an excellent hiking or even possibly running companion, as he seems to have no "off switch". He is searching for a very active home that can keep him moving. Blarney can be a little cat-like sometimes and likes to rub against his favorite people's legs. We are not sure if he has ever actually been around cats or kids, but he enjoys dog friends of all shapes and sizes! He's truly a social butterfly. Blarney would adore being your next adventure buddy! He becomes quite sad when left home solo, so he'd love to join you for whatever you have in store. Can you believe this adorable guy was found as a stray? He was taken to Hitchcock Road Animal Services, where he was getting overwhelmed by the loud shelter environment. We're excited to be here to help this sweet boy find his forever spot.

Story
Looks like: Terrier mix Female, 10 years old (estimated), 9 pounds Pippie has a very clear agenda for her golden years: enjoy life to the fullest, embrace limitations of an aging body, and be as quirky as all get out. This sweet little Madam really loves to be held and cuddled and wants nothing more than to be around her favorite people. She gets along well with anyone she meets, including other dogs and also cats. In fact, at her foster home, Pippie has been caught sometimes cozying up with the other pups! But her favorite snuggle spot is right next to you on the couch or in another warm bed when you're not there to snuggle. We think she may be ok around gentle, older children, but is a bit too fragile to be around young kids. Pippie enjoys toddling around the yard for a bit or going for short walks, and then finding a warm sunny spot for a nap. She is content on car rides and also when home alone. Miss Pippie has quite a list of adorable peculiarities. For one, her stiff joints give her a bit of an old Wild West sort of swagger. For entertainment, she woo-woos when she gets excited and can be very silly and playful during her spunky moments. Her specialty moves are her wiggles while laying on her back when she is especially happy and gleeful. Pippie is on a few medications which she takes 2-3 times a day. This content little pup dreams of a loving home with caring people and a little extra space for her on the couch. Pippie had quite a rough past and joined POMDR after she was picked up as a stray and brought to Hitchcock Road Animal Services.
