From the moment he arrived, it was clear this little guy is something truly special. At just a year old and under 10 pounds, Frankie is the perfect blend of adorable and intelligent. He has a bright, expressive nature and carries himself with that charming, alert curiosity that makes you feel like he understands everything around him. He gets along beautifully with other small dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and seems to carry a quiet joy wherever he goes. Whether he’s happily trotting by your side or curled up close soaking in affection, Frankie is all about connection. He loves to snuggle, give sweet kisses, and simply be near his people. There’s something incredibly comforting about his presence—like he knows just how to make a house feel like home. Meet Oliver! Oliver is a 6 year old male Cairn Terrier. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area Friday, 4/10 and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. Poor Georgie has not had a good life. He spent the last few years living in a car with his homeless owner. He was seized by the police when his owner was hospitalized. Georgie has to learn to trust because of his rough life. He is estimated to be 16-18 years old. He does like people but has some issues with grooming and is reactive to big dogs. He would do well in a quiet adult home. Georgie needs a home to spend the remainder of his life in comfort and with the love he deserves.
