My name is Butler, and while my story started with a little mystery, I'm hoping it ends with a forever family. Somehow, I found myself wandering the streets of a small rural town in Tennessee until I landed in the local Sheriff's front yard. Don't worry—I was caught completely unarmed and wasn't committing any crimes... unless being ridiculously cute is against the law! The nice folks here think I'm about a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier mix, and I tip the scales at a perfect 20 pounds. I'm just the right size for road trips, couch cuddles, neighborhood walks, and all of life's adventures. I'm a friendly little guy who gets along well with other dogs, absolutely loves people, and is still letting everyone discover all the wonderful things about me. One thing I've noticed? The ladies seem to swoon when they meet me... the human ladies, that is! But now that I'm neutered, my dating days are behind me, and I'm fully focused on finding the one relationship that really matters—a forever family. My wish list isn't very long. I'd love a comfy dog bed, people who will love me, and a home where I can finally settle in and know I belong. My foster mom says she'd happily keep me if she weren't dedicated to saving more dogs like me. Since she's making room for the next pup in need, I'm hoping my perfect family finds me soon. Witty, itty bitty and pretty? That’s Miss Kitty! Kitty is a 5 year old little West Highland Terrier who was recently surrendered to Zoe’s House from a commercial breeding farm. She is so ready to put that life in her past. She has a wonderful little personality and just wants someone of her very own that she can trust and love. Kitty is very affectionate and wiggly once she feels relaxed. Kitty would be happy living with another dog but really wouldn’t mind being an only child either. She sleeps in her crate and does well going in for breaks throughout the day but she can get vocal if she hears you having too much fun without her. She walks very well on a leash and is the kind of girl who just wants to be wherever her people are. As is very typical with mill dogs, Kitty can be timid and shy if you approach her abruptly and she does submissive pee a little when she’s nervous or overwhelmed. She’s truly a lovely little girl who just needs a peaceful home to help build her confidence. Kitty is up to date on her shots, has had her teeth cleaned and is spayed.
