Story
Meet Scorch! At just 3 months old, Scorch has already experienced more than any puppy ever should. He was found tied to a tree, but despite his heartbreaking start, Scorch is proving every day that love can heal. This handsome little guy has the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet cuddle bug. He loves to play, explore, and chase toys, but once he's tired out he is happiest soaking up attention from the people he trusts. Scorch is still a little shy when meeting new people, and that's understandable after everything he's been through. With patience, kindness, and a few treats, he's learning that not everyone is bad. Watching his confidence grow is one of the most rewarding things. Each day he lets his goofy, loving personality shine a little brighter. Scorch his looking for a family that will give him the time, love, and security he's never had. In return, he'll give you a lifetime of loyalty, gratitude, and unconditional love. He is available for adoption on 7/25/2026! Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2780761##

Meet Agnes 💜🐾 Agnes is a fun-loving girl with a big personality and energy to spare! She can be nervous when meeting new people, so she'll need a few visits to build trust—but once you're in her circle, she's happiest tagging along for every adventure. • Sweet, playful, and full of personality 💜 • Ball of energy who loves toys and staying active 🎾 • Food and toy motivated, making her eager to learn 🍪 • Velcro dog who loves attention ❤️ • Passenger princess and always ready for an adventure 🚗🌲 • Multiple visits required to build trust 🤝 • Experienced, adult-only or teen (13+) home preferred 🏡 • High prey drive—no cats 🚫🐱 • Will need regular grooming, though grooming can be a work in progress ✂️ Agnes is looking for an active home that will embrace her goofy spirit, continue building her confidence, and give her the structure she needs to thrive. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's always ready for the next adventure, Agnes might be your girl! 💛 📍 The Center for Animal Health and Welfare PA Kennel License #02941 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Please read the bio in full for answers to common questions. If you have a question not covered here, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/. Because all of our dogs live in foster homes, meet-and-greets are scheduled only after a completed application is received. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance of Mays Landing, NJ so our volunteers can conduct an in-person home visit. Meet Brodie 🐾 Brodie is an 11–12 year old, 8-lb terrier mix. He is fully housebroken, leash trained, and absolutely loves being with his person. He enjoys walks, cuddling, and spending time close to his human. He sleeps in a dog bed and would do fine in a home without a yard. That said, Brodie is a behaviorally complex dog and will require an experienced adopter. He has a history of biting and is not appropriate for homes with children. He can be nippy, especially if: • He is startled • He is forced to do something uncomfortable or painful (he has arthritis) • He is having his eyes handled (dry eye care is part of his routine) • He feels pressured or overwhelmed Because of this, nippy dog experience is absolutely required. He needs someone who understands canine body language, respects boundaries, and is committed to management and structure. Brodie is also sensitive to loud noises and can seem fearful of certain situations. He appears to carry some past stress, but with routine, predictability, and calm handling, he does well. His ideal home is quiet, consistent, and willing to follow clear guidelines. He is: • Good with dogs and cats • Not suitable for children • A cuddle-loving couch companion • Sensitive but sweet when he feels safe Medical notes: • On dry eye medication, Rimadyl, and Gabapentin (~$50/month) • Stairs are not recommended Brodie is not a beginner dog. He is not a casual adoption. He is looking for the right experienced home that understands that his needs come first. If you love seasoned, sensitive little dogs and have experience with dogs who need structure and respect, Brodie may be your guy. 🐾

Story
Leonardo aka Leon came to use after his family had life changes to where they could no longer care for him. He is a super sweet boy except when grooming his face, tail and feet. He does fairly well once he warms up to other dogs, great with cats and kids. He enjoys car rides and walks. He is not a fan of the crate but goes in easily for meals. He is fostered in the Knoxville TN area but transportation to an area near you is provided by Rescue Riders LLC and included in the adoption fee.
