BREED-Carien Terrier Mix SEX-Male; SIZE-Small; WEIGHT-13 lbs.; AGE-Approximately 2 Years; SPAY/NEUTER-Yes; HOUSETRAINED-Currently Uses Doggie Door; GOOD WITH KIDS-No GOOD WITH DOGS-Yes; GOOD WITH CATS-Unknown; HISTORY-Rescued From A Local Shelter; ADOPTION FEE-$300; Hi, I'm Scout! I love to play and run around, always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. I'm super friendly and love making new friends, though I admit, I like to be the boss during playtime. I can get a bit nippy when overly excited, so I might do best in a home without little ones. I'm full of energy and affection, looking for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle as much as I do. Adopting me means endless fun and a loyal companion by your side. Let's start our adventure together!March 7, 2026, 2:41 pm

My journey to the shelter? Oh, it's a funny tale! I once chased a squirrel right into a fancy garden party, causing a hilarious dessert disaster. Imagine cakes and pies flying! Needless to say, I needed a new place to hang my leash after that. I'm playful, energetic, and super friendly. If you love laughter and have a stash of toys, I'm your guy. Adopt me and let's start our own fun-filled adventures!June 2, 2026, 9:47 am

Sweet Honey Honey is exactly what her name suggests—sweet, lovable, and impossible not to adore. This adorable little Australian Terrier/Cairn Terrier mix is just about a year old and weighs a perfect 11 pounds. With her scruffy terrier charm, low-shedding coat, and bright, expressive eyes, Honey is a head-turner. But it’s her calm, affectionate disposition that truly steals hearts. Honey was found running loose with a young male Aussie named Arthur. While their story before rescue remains a mystery, one thing is clear: these dogs once knew love. Both arrived healthy, happy, and remarkably well-adjusted, as though they had spent their lives as cherished family pets. Honey is a comforting little companion animal. She will want to be near her human at home and when out but her preference is a quiet evening at home. Honey is happy to see you and be right there with you. She’s crate trained and housebroken, not a barker and also very comfortable around other dogs. We would love to see her in a home with another friendly dog or two so she’s not alone when her humans are out and about. Honey would also be fine in a home with cats, she’s only 10 lbs and not prey-driven. If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart, a gentle spirit and endless affection to give, Honey may be exactly the tiny companion you’ve been waiting for. Sweet Honey is ready to find the forever family she deserves. If you’re interested in meeting honey for adoption, please complete the application on our website below TEXT SARA:214-549-9905 So I can check your application and get back to you! www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city.
