Calico kittens & cats in Hoover, Alabama

Sushi is a sassy 6 year old cat. She loves to be pet when she wants to but also enjoys her alone time. She does well with kids and dogs. Sushi was abandoned after her owner no longer wanted her. She is sweet and loves to cuddle on the couch. She is strictly indoor and I have not had any issues with her not using her litter box

Calico's owners moved and left her in our neighborhood. She is very sweet natured, but I am allergic to cats, so need to rehome her. She is used to being outside and is very easy to care for... just food and water daily and of course, some love!

Diana (nicknamed "Dirty-Diana from the MJ song) is a lovely speckled dilute Torti/Tabby mix. From the moment she entered our rescue, she had a standout personality. She is outgoing, affectionate and purrs the second you pick her up. She is such a happy, playful little girl who deserves a family who appreciates her special light. Additionally, we have noticed that Diana is attracted to men who are bald. We can't explain it, but she absolutely adores her foster dad (who is bald), even though she only see's him a couple hours a day. St. Gertrude Rescue does not have set adoption fee's. It costs a minimum of $150 for us to fully vet each kitten, including all vaccinations and spay/neuter. We ask adopting families to contribute toward this vetting.

This adorable kitten is sweet and looking for a family to call her own. She can be a little cautious in new surroundings at first, but once she knows she’s safe, she quickly becomes an affectionate, and cuddly companion who loves to curl up for naps. Her favorite places are cozy little hideaways, sunny windowsills, and patches of tall grass where she can watch the world go by. She enjoys playing in the yard, exploring, and usually ended the day snuggled up side by side with her brother who has already found his furever home. She gets along wonderfully with puppies, other cats, and children, making her a great fit for many different types of homes. She is litter box trained, eats dry food, and never turns down a tasty treat—especially cheese or fish!If you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitten who will grow into a loyal companion, Fanny is ready to fill your home with purrs, playfulness, and plenty of cuddles.

Teddy is a sweet, chunky, cat. He loves to be brushed, loves to be pet. He’s very shy at first but once he warms up to you, he becomes the most loving, cuddly cat. He is 6 years old. His prior owner no longer wanted to have pets and wanted to get rid of him. He is strictly an indoor cat and is very well behaved. Has never had an accident with me.

"Cashew is a handsome boy, he’s a year and a half old, neutered male. He was born at our house and still lives with his mom and brother. He is a loving and active little guy who loves a laser pointer and playtime and watching birds and lizards outside our window. He is also quite snuggly and will sit in your lap. Unfortunately, he has suffered with struvite crystals in the last year, and seems to have feline idiopathic cystitis and continues to pee around our home inappropriately. We have taken him to the vet multiple times and have him on special food. In many cases, the food and a better water system is supposed to help cats with FLUTD. He seems to be stressed by other stray cats in our neighborhood and living with our toddler. He’s not a fan of loud noises. We wish he could be someone's special boy who could give him lots of calm, loving attention. We think his condition would go away if he was less stressed and lived in a home with more predictable routine."

Nova is Greycee’s kitten. Greycee is also listed for adoption. I would love to keep them together if possible, if not I understand. I would take a substantial amount off for the both of them.
