Story
I am a beautiful kitty saved from a terrible life. My previous owners were extremely abusive and didn't take care of me at all. I was so sick I almost died but thankfully the vet was able to save my life but I do not have my eyes anymore. But that doesn't stop me from living my best life! You could never tell I was abused because I love people and playing and especially the cuddles. I cannot wait to give you all the love and happiness when I join your family!

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! TUKTIREY and her 2 siblings (TONOWARI - TSIREYA) were part of a TNR effort in Riverside, California. Our photographer TNRed all the adult cats and rescued kittens. We were asked to help and they went with one of our fosters. TUKTIREY is now ready for her "FUREVER" home. TUKTIREY is now ready for her "FUREVER" home. A calico cat is a domestic cat of any breed with a tri-color coat. The calico cat is most commonly thought of as being 25% to 75% white with large orange and black patches, however, they may have other colors in their patterns. Sometimes a variation occurs with cream and grey patches that is called a muted calico. We did name all the kittens after the new movie Avatar: The Way of Water. Meet TUKTIREY, a shy but sweet two-year-old muted calico from Riverside, California, whose gentle presence is a serene delight wrapped in a beautiful, soft blend of pastel fur. TUKTIREY, with her gentle green eyes and delicate demeanor, is the kind of companion who will quietly steal your heart. Her muted calico coat, a harmonious mix of soft grays, creams, and whispers of orange, reflects her calm and peaceful personality. TUKTIREY may be a bit reserved at first, but beneath that shy exterior lies a tender heart ready to connect. She’s the type of cat who thrives in a quiet, loving environment where she can slowly unfurl her true self. Patience is key with this gentle girl, and once she feels secure, she’ll reward her new pet companion with soft purrs and a loyal presence that can turn any house into a home. While she may start off a little cautious, TUKTIREY enjoys the company of other cats and is more than okay with pets. In fact, she’s at her best when surrounded by feline friends who bring out her playful side. Whether it’s a feather toy or a cozy nap in the sun, TUKTIREY’s gentle playfulness is a joy to behold. She gets along well with other cats, making her an excellent addition to a multi-cat household where she can feel part of a close-knit community. This sweet girl would love a family who appreciates her quiet charm and is willing to give her the time she needs to blossom. TUKTIREY is also comfortable with other pets, making her a versatile companion for a caring household looking to add a touch of tranquility to their lives. Are you ready to offer TUKTIREY the caring environment she needs to shine? This lovely muted calico is waiting for a pet parent who understands the beauty of a gentle heart and is ready to embark on a lifelong journey of quiet companionship and mutual affection. Could TUKTIREY be the sweet, serene presence your home is missing? TUKTIREY is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MUTED CALICO MIX with the most beautiful yellow eyes. She is about 2 years 1 month old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around children. TUKTIREY is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! VANESSA FISK has had a rough life. We believe someone dumped her in our area. She found herself to our outdoor colony. We found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. Meet VANESSA FISK, a beautiful six-year-old DSH Calico mix from Hemet, California, whose essence is gentle resilience wrapped in a striking coat of white, orange, and black. VANESSA FISK is a large, shy, and timid cat who has faced some challenges in her past, but she’s ready to find a loving and patient family who can help her continue to heal and blossom. VANESSA FISK is an independent soul who finds comfort in the quiet companionship of other cats. Having lived peacefully with fellow felines, she would thrive in a home with another calm and understanding cat to keep her company. Her experiences have made her a bit wary of new environments, so she’ll need a pet parent who can offer her the gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe and secure. While Vanessa hasn’t had much experience with dogs or young children, her timid nature suggests that she would do best in a calm, dog-free home where she can gradually build her confidence at her own pace. A quiet environment with adults or older children who can respect her boundaries would be ideal for this sweet girl. Vanessa’s beautiful calico markings are matched by her soft, soulful eyes that tell the story of a cat who’s ready to embrace the kindness and comfort of a loving home. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Vanessa is sure to show her new fa family just how much affection she has to give. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will appreciate your care and offer quiet companionship in return, VANESSA FISK could be the perfect addition to your family. Are you ready to give this shy but loving cat the home she needs? VANESSA FISK is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / CALICO MIX. She is about 6 years and 7 months old and is good with cats. She has never been around dogs or young children. We don't think she will do well with dogs. The vet thinks a coyote or loose dog attacked her. VANESSA FISK is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. SEPTEMBER 2025 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. MELISSA MCALL, and her 3 daughters (LYDIA MARTIN, TRACY STEWART and ALLISON ARGENT) were rescued from the shelter. Rescue mama was at the shelter picking up kittens for one of her fosters when she saw MELISSA MCALL and her family. They were so sickly looking. Needless to say, the rescue mama picked them all up. She could not leave them to their doom. Meet MELISSA MCALL, a beautiful diluted calico who has been on a long journey to find her forever family. After a chaotic start on the streets, MELISSA MCALL found herself in the shelter system where she and her children faced health challenges. Now fully recovered and safe in our cat room, she's still learning to trust that good things can last. MELISSA MCALL is incredibly curious and loves to investigate her surroundings, making every day an adventure. She's also very playful, with an independent streak that lets her confidently explore on her own. MELISSA MCALL's love for wet food is a great way to earn her trust and build a bond. While she may seem reserved at first, if you look into her eyes, you'll see so much love and a soft heart waiting to be fully open. She needs a loving human who will be patient, consistent, and understand that her past means she needs a little extra time and understanding to feel truly safe. Can you open your heart to this resilient girl and love her just the way she is? MELISSA MCALL is DOMESTIC SHORT-HAIR / DILUTED CALICO MIX. She is 2 years and 10 months old and is good with cats. Hi, Im Sarah.I may not be the first one to walk up and say hello, thats usually my best friend, Princess Buttercup. Shes confident, outgoing, and makes friends wherever she goes. Me? I like to take my time. I watch, I learn, and once I know Im safe, I slowly blossom. It just takes me a little extra love, patience, and understanding to get there. The beautiful thing is, with Buttercup by my side, I gain confidence every single day. She helps me feel brave enough to step forward. I help keep her calm and balanced. We really are like yin and yang, different personalities, but perfectly matched. We complement each other in all the best ways.Because of our bond, we need to be adopted together. Weve grown up side by side, and were happiest that way. Hi, Im Princess ButtercupIm the confident one. The friendly one. The walk into a room like I own it kind of girl. I love people, Im curious about everything, and Im usually the first one to say hello. But theres something really important you should know about me I come with my best friend. Her name is Sarah. Shes a little more shy than I am. She likes to hang back and observe before jumping in. I help her feel brave, and she helps keep me calm. We balance each other perfectly. Were not related, but we grew up together in foster care and became each others safe place. I make sure she knows everything is okay. She makes sure I dont get too carried away. It works.Because of that, we need to be adopted together. Were happiest side by side, and honestly, life is just better when were together. If youre looking for the best of both worlds, a social butterfly and a sweet, quiet soul, we might be your perfect pair.
