Calico kittens & cats in Indian Wells, California

I am a beautiful kitty saved from a terrible life. My previous owners were extremely abusive and didn't take care of me at all. I was so sick I almost died but thankfully the vet was able to save my life but I do not have my eyes anymore. But that doesn't stop me from living my best life! You could never tell I was abused because I love people and playing and especially the cuddles. I cannot wait to give you all the love and happiness when I join your family!

Catniss came to us with her litter. All her babies have found forever homes. This VERY sweet and friendly girl needs hers!

We moved into a new house, the outside cat that was already here had babies, she is one of them. my daughter took her In and currently is going to college, unable to take care of her so therefore she needs a new home, someone who will love her. she is very calm and to herself but she does warm up and loves to play. We do have dogs in the house, so we keep half the house for her and separate. That’s getting harder to do with all the kids growing up and moving out. Both parents work and it’s just getting too hard. Biggest fear is somehow the dogs could get to the back , one of my dogs just learned how to open doors (the doors have the push down handles). That means someone always has to make sure the doors are locked. As much as we would like to keep her it’s just not fair to her to be locked away, with everyone gone most of the day.

She found herself to our outdoor colony. Then we found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. In her long recovery process, VANESSA FISK learned to adapt to the indoor life (that's why we think she was dumped). So now she is nice and plumb. She's timid, but we believe in a home with a person or family looking for a quite new buddy will make her flourish. While she has spent time in our cattery, she has learned to be social with all the cats. She's even learned to climb to the ceiling ramp. She's looking for a place to just be a couch potato. She has never been around dogs or young children. We don't think she will do well with dogs. The vet thinks a coyote or loose dog attacked her. They are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. She was found in a bush alone in Redondo Beach, Ca. SELENA was feisty and so small. She really was made to be a house (queen) kitty . SELENA is now ready for her FUREVER home. She is not a lap cat, but we can see her potential! She has lived indoors with her foster siblings. She's a typical calico...she can be sassy! She is also sweet but, not fond of being picked up. SELENA does ask for pets. She actually demands them. She loves to play and will let you know she likes her can food! She is a petite little queen! She is a gorgeous little teenager. But don't take our word for it...go meet her! SELENA is a CALICO / DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR MIX. She is about 19 months old and is good with cats. In her foster home, she was around other kittens and older cats. She would probably do better as the queen of her house, but she does well with other cats. She does better with sweet calm cats. And then, dumped in the shelter. We don't know if they ever had human interaction before us, but they are still a bit skeptical of humans. And because of the lack of being super social little butterflies, they were in danger of being euthanized. So off we went to rescue them! JUNIE is a calm, shy little girl.
