Calico kittens & cats in Monterey, California

I rescued my cat out of a storm drain in Gilroy, she was very tiny and very hungry. She had all of her first two year shots. She has become an indoor and outdoor cat. Very pleasant, very mild mannered. Sleeps a lot. Loves to chase the birds and does not wander off very far. I need to relocate and cannot take the cat with me. Looking for a new forever home that she could be love and care for.

This is not your usual biography for a kitty looking for her forever human family, instead, it’s more of a “cat seeking cat” request. Meet Firefly, an independent, beautiful dilute calico who is on the search for a feline friend, moreso than a human buddy. She’s a bit shy around people and prefers to take her time warming up, but when it comes to other cats, she’s a natural! Firefly gets along with cats of all sizes and ages, making her the perfect low-maintenance companion for a kitty in need of a buddy. She’s well-mannered and doesn’t ask for the extras, so if you’re looking to add a friend for your current cat, Firefly could be just the right fit. She’ll need some time to adjust to her new home, but once she’s comfortable, she’ll be the calm, gentle companion your cat has been waiting for! And for the right human, if allowed in her circle of trust, she’ll turn on the charm full speed for a Churu treat! Firefly would do best in a calm and quiet home without young children or a lot of foot traffic. She is fine with cat-friendly dogs and is ultimately looking for a feline friend or friends to share snacks and naps together. She was found at a park in Los Banos where some bad little boys were trying to use her as a hacky sack! Fortunately, someone came along and rescued her and got her safely to IBOK. She screamed nonstop for the first 24 hours we had her--hence the name Fury--but as soon as we placed her with Capt. Marvel, she immediately quieted down and cuddled up with her and they have been inseperable since.  She has adorable markings that make it appear that she has freckles and super soft fur like a bunny. She's super snuggly and very playful and likes just about everyone. She will need to be adopted with her BFF Marvel.All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations, tested for FeLV, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home.Most of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home where there is currently not another young cat. Eight year old Priscilla is a pretty, short hair brown tabby with white feet and a bib. Her loving owner recently passed away, leaving her and her cat friends without a place to go. Priscilla has a big personality and likes to play with toys, but only after she gets to know you. Wand toys are her favorite. Although she lived peacefully with other cats she may prefer to have someone all to herself. She is affectionate, loves a good scritch or three under her chin and is very talkative and will converse with you about your day. She has great litter box habits and is used to being an indoor only cat. She is on a weight loss journey to stay healthy and regain her kittenish figure. Priscilla would do best in a patient home that understands she may need a little time to fully open up after all the changes she’s experienced. But for someone willing to give her that space and love, Priscilla will reward you with endless affection, soothing purrs, and quiet companionship. Her foster had this to say: "Priscilla is so interesting! She’s an easy keeper, doesn’t meow much and has a sweet little voice. She likes sitting next to you but not on your lap. She tolerates being picked up briefly. She loves the cat dancer. Chubby as she is, she’s agile and moves around easily. She’s a good eater but curiously, doesn’t come around at the sound of cans opening. She explores at night, spends a little time on the bed, but still loves dark places best—day or night. The bottom of the closet is her happy place."
