Meet the incredibly handsome, amazingly talented, and genuinely loving sweethearts of AARF’s One Direction litter - Niall and Liam! The boys are great with cat-friendly dogs and cats of all ages! They love each other and everyone else too! Their favorite hobbies include a serious game of wand toy, watching cat tv like it’s their job, laying on or alongside you for some movie time, wrestling and playing with each other, and of course, doing just about anything to show off for a Churu treat! They love a high perch spot like a tall cat tree or wall shelves, and if given the chance to demonstrate their mountain goat jumping skills, they will shine and amaze anyone with their athleticism! The resounding theme with this adorable pair is: play hard, love hard, be awesome - repeat. Niall - the observer who can easily entertain himself with a ping pong ball for hours, but plays tag with his brother like a pro. He is easy-going, good natured, and gentle. Niall is the master of poses and facial expressions and is a pretty laid back kitty. This buff (aka dilute orange) tabby loves lap time and it’s rare for his foster mom to sit down and not have him in her lap in 2.0 seconds. Liam - his vibrant orange color is like he’s on high definition (truly, pictures don’t capture how brilliant his coloring is) and with his big innocent Puss In Boots eyes it’s hard not to want to shower him with smooches 24/7. Liam absolutely loves to watch tv or phones, an adorable quirk that makes watching anything a unique experience. Put on cat tv and you’ll have made a friend for life! He is playful, sweet, and always happy! These boys would love a chance to meet you virtually and/or in person and are available for a private meet and greet! They can be adopted together or each would make a great +1 for a resident kitten that needs a loving and fun companion friend/add-on sibling. Cagney was rescued alongside a group of kittens with their mom cats Thelma and Louise. She’s learned that life is better with other cats around and she'd like to keep it that way. She's a little reserved at first, quiet and observant, but get her settled and she transforms: playful, churu-obsessed, and absolutely melting for a good scritch. She's does best with feline friend and is looking for a patient home with another cat she can trust. Thelma or Louise would be ideal, or a resident kitty who's easygoing and welcoming. Justice doesn't make a big entrance. He watches first, thinks it over, and decides on his own timeline. But when he does decide you're worth trusting, he means it completely. He's a quiet, sensitive soul who shows affection in small, deliberate ways. He’s the kind of cat who doesn't demand your attention but somehow always makes you feel chosen when he gives you his. Justice loves other cats deeply, especially his foster brother Kahuna — a big, long-legged orange tabby with white socks and the softest heart in the room. Kahuna is the gentle giant peacemaker of the house, a devoted cuddle buddy who forms deep bonds with other kitties. The two of them together are a study in opposites that make perfect sense — big and small, outgoing and reserved. Rounding out their little family is Cassolette, the bold and spicy-sweet queen who keeps the whole household running with confidence and curiosity. She's small but mighty. He’d thrive best going home with Kahuna and Cass as a trio, or with Kahuna as a pair. But if you already have a gentle, easy-going cat at home who's been waiting for a quiet friend, Justice might just be the missing piece. He needs a patient home with someone who understands that his trust is earned, not given freely, and who knows that's exactly what makes it worth having. Ryder is a handsome and gentle 12 year old orange tabby. He loves greeting his person at the door for pets when they come home. This very loving boy enjoys cuddling up on the couch with his people to lounge, once he gets to know you, and playing with kitty toys. He also loves following the sunbeams for naps. Ryder has lived in a household with a dog before but may enjoy having you all to himself. He may even talk to you about your day with his meows. He has perfect litter box habits and has always been an indoor cat. He was surrendered due to his lifelong guardians inability to take him along on their overseas move.

Seven year old Poppy is a pretty redhead orange tabby, with a friendly and curious personality. She greets everyone that comes to visit with calm head rubs after a sniff or two. Poppy was surrendered by a family who had small children with developed allergies. She is fairly independent but loves to follow her human to see what's going on. Poppy is very playful and full of energy followed by afternoon naps in the sun. She is not a lap cat (yet) but is a cuddler when lying next to you and likes being picked up and carried, in return you get a bunch of soft happy purrs for your effort. Her favorite toys are wand toys, especially with feathers. She puts a lot of energy into playtime, loves small mice toys she can throw into the air and catch. Like most cats the belly trap is real and a 'no go' zone. She is a foodie as she really loves to eat! She has great litterbox habits and is easy to get into a carrier and very quiet in a car. Poppy is hoping to be a single cat but may be fine with a respectful dog. She would benefit from a Catio or a safe outdoor space as she is very adventurous and inquisitive. Kids are not her thing, other cats? Not really. An adult home would be preferred where you get all her love and entertainment. Looking for a cat savvy adopter who can read her cues when she's had enough petting, short sessions are key. With a little patience in the beginning, she will settle in and feel safe as she blossoms and becomes your number one. Give this nice girl a chance at a new beginning!

Alfie's person passed away and sadly no one in the family was able to take him in. Alfie has been part of the family since kittenhood -- he was found as a tiny kitten, dumped in a plastic bag along a rural road in South Monterey County. Now 10 years old, Alfie is a handsome, short-haired brown tabby with striking markings and a big, sturdy build -- a true gentle giant. He's always been a "people cat" through and through: affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he has a warm lap or cozy bed to share with someone. Alfie would love a home where he can be your devoted companion and bring comfort to your days. Because he's never lived with other cats, he'll do best as an only cat, where he can soak up all the attention and love he deserves.
