This funny, sweet, and incredibly cuddly girl came to us after facing euthanasia at a shelter simply because she was obese. With proper care, love, and a consistent routine, Peaches has already lost weight and is feeling so much better in foster care—and she’s ready to keep thriving in a forever home. Peaches lives for snuggles. She will happily burrow under the covers and patiently wait for her people to come home so she can curl up and cuddle like it’s her full-time job. When she’s not being a professional snuggle bug, she enjoys playing—especially chasing wand toys—and showing off her playful side. She’s a “large and in charge” kind of gal who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about it. Peaches would do best in a calm household where she can reign over her kingdom in peace, continue her healthy diet, and get gentle daily exercise to keep her feeling her best. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.To NO fault of these cats...Tulip had a wonderful home with her brother Caesar (at right) for over six years.  One of her owners died, and the other tried her best to hold them together, but it was just too difficult after three years.  Caesar and Tulip are a bit scared as a result of all of the changes after having a stable home for so long.  They both got adopted again at 6 YO.  The familiy had a baby and now they need to rehome these seniors again due to living circumstances.   Please read what the owner wrote about Tulip.   Meet Tulip! She is an 11-year-old domestic short hair, brown tabby with a sweet, soulful presence. Silently watching from her perch at the end of the couch, she usually keeps her distance, but makes her feelings known when it’s time to cuddle up and watch a movie. She is the definition of a lap cat. She loves to be brushed and scratched around her neck and ears. She won’t say it, but she secretly loves the attention, kneading a nearby pillow or blanket to let you know, or purring so loud you have to turn the volume up.    Tulip and her brother Caesar are from the same litter and have been together their whole lives. After their first owner passed away, we have been blessed to call them family for the last 4 years, but unfortunately, due to life circumstances, we can no longer care for them, and hope to find them a loving home where their needs can be met.   Overall, Tulip and Caesar are a joy to be around. Meet Momma, a gentle one-year-old cat who’s ready for her forever home. She was rescued from under an abandoned car with her two kittens—who have since been adopted—and now it’s finally her turn to be loved. Momma can be shy at first and may need a little time to feel safe, but with patience she blossoms into a sweet lap companion who loves curling up with you during TV time and asking for gentle pets. She enjoys crinkly toys, balls, string toys, catnip, and treats (especially anything chicken), and she isn’t picky when it comes to food. Because she spent most of her life outdoors, she’s still learning indoor manners and is practicing staying off counters and the TV stand, though she does great on the couch and her cat tree. Momma currently doesn’t do very well with other cats and would thrive as the only pet, but with slow, careful introductions and plenty of time, she may eventually learn to tolerate a feline friend. With patience and love, can be a lovely addition to your home.
