I've had Honey for a little over a year. She is 6 years old. I was not looking for a cat, but I knew I had to rescue her from where she was. She has adjusted well here, but I am 84 years old and will be moving across country to a place where I can't take her. She is extremely sweet and easy going. She is very smart and tells you when she wants something. She enjoys cat tv and likes to look out the window. No health issues known. This is hard for me and it's important to me that Honey goes to a family that truly loves her and can give her the time she deserves. I love her very much and I truly wish I could take her with me. She also comes with a lot of toys and some furniture.

I have two other cats a dog. I also have teenage boys. Rita prefers to stay in a quiet location of the house. She also prefers a female owner. The vacuum frightens her. She is very sweet nd enjoys being petted, except for her belly. Having multiple cats makes feeding time a challenge if one pet has special food. I have one large breed cat that demands more food. As a result, Rita takes advantage of the multiple feedings and now could lose several pounds. I think her weight will return to normal once she is the only cat. She doesn't demand food, but if the opportunity is there, she will eat. She has some hair loss near her lower back and tail. I'm not sure how to treat this. I have had multiple vet appointments for my other animals and have been unable to get her into a vet to have it addressed. I was told she was spayed, but she still exhibits possible un-spayed behavior. She also is very particular about her litter box. She prefers an open lid litter box.

Sweet, affectionate cat looking for her forever home.She is a loving, people oriented cat who enjoys being around her humans and thrives on companionship. She is house trained, spayed, and gets along well with dogs. She would do best as the only cat in the home, as she is not comfortable living with other cats.Because she is very social and enjoys company, her ideal home would be with someone who works from home, or is home often, or has other pets (dogs are fine) to help keep her from feeling lonely during the day.A little about her story: before I took her in, her previous owners left her outside while she was in heat and eventually moved away. I brought her in, got her spayed, and have worked to give her the care and stability she deserves. To help make her transition to a new home as easy as possible, I will send her with her belongings at no cost. She will come with a 65-inch cat tree, her litter box, cat litter, and any remaining cat food I have for her.
