Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our cat. She is a very gentle and affectionate girl who thrives on attention and bonding with her person. • Good with calm, non-dominant cats and dogs • Would do best as the only pet or in a very low-key home • Shy at first, but warms up with patience and love • Loves affection and being close once she feels safe Unfortunately, our home has a more dominant cat and dog, and she’s just too timid for that environment. We want to find her a place where she can feel comfortable, confident, and truly thrive. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion and can give her a calm home, please reach out ❤️

Mel is the sweetest, tiniest baby. I lover her so much but unfortunately we have to rehome her. She has never once been aggressive and has the cutest personality. She loves our other cat and tolerates our large dog. She is skiddish but is so loving when she gets comfortable.

Story
Hunter Bunn & TJ – Calico Queen & Curious Tortie 🐾🧡🖤 Hunter Bunn and TJ (short for Tortie Jr.) are a bonded pair of 5-month-old girls looking for a patient, loving home together. Hunter Bunn, our beautiful calico, is a (very) funny girl with a big personality just waiting to fully shine again. She loves playing with other kitties and is usually one of the first to jump into the action. She’s bold, expressive, and clearly believes life should be lived enthusiastically. Since moving indoors, she’s still adjusting, but once she feels completely safe and settled, we expect her playful, fun-loving spirit to take center stage. TJ (Tortie Jr.) is exactly what her name suggests — a gorgeous little tortoiseshell with that classic tortie intensity and curiosity. Any time something new appeared — a crate, a cat bed, a cat house — TJ was the first to inspect it. New object? She’s on it. She’s naturally brave and inquisitive about her environment. With people, though, she’s more timid and unsure. She’s slowly learning that humans can be kind and predictable, and she’ll need a patient home willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Together, they balance each other beautifully — Hunter bringing the spark and humor, TJ bringing thoughtful curiosity and quiet bravery. They are: ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Combo test negative ✔️ Up to date on vaccines They’re not feral — just young kittens who haven’t had consistent, positive human attention yet. With time, patience, and love, they will continue to blossom into wonderful companions. And now for the plot twist… We’re actually a dog rescue. When subfreezing temperatures hit in late January, we were focused on getting dogs out of the cold — including a very pregnant mama and a stray who needed urgent help. At the same time, we learned about a group of seven kittens facing the same freezing weather. When babies need help, you don’t stop to check species — you just step in. Before coming indoors, Hunter Bunn truly earned her name. Every few days she would proudly present her rescuer with a “gift” — a bug, a squirrel tail (🥹), or some treasure she had conquered the day before. TJ, meanwhile, was always the first to investigate anything new that showed up at the colony. So yes — the dog rescue has cats. And these two undercover agents are ready for a forever mission of their own. 🐱💕

Story
Laverne – Sweet, Playful, and Ready for Love 🐾💛 Laverne is a 6-month-old kitten with a gentle heart and a growing love for human attention. She’s come a long way, and it shows in the sweetest ways — like how she leans right into pets and happily soaks up affection once she knows she’s safe. She has a soft, easygoing nature, but don’t let that fool you — Laverne also has a playful side! She loves to chase her toys, pounce, and show off her kitten energy, especially when she’s feeling comfortable. It’s the perfect mix: cuddly companion and playful entertainer. Since moving indoors, Laverne has adjusted beautifully. She may be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up. With a little patience and a calm environment, she quickly shows her affectionate, trusting personality. She is:
 ✔️ Spayed
 ✔️ Combo test negative
✔️ Up to date on vaccines She’s not feral — just a young kitten who needed a chance to learn that people can be kind. Now that she knows, she’s ready to share that love with a forever family. And now for the plot twist… We’re actually a dog rescue. When subfreezing temperatures hit, we were focused on saving dogs — including a very pregnant mama and a stray in urgent need. At the same time, we learned about a group of seven kittens facing that same brutal cold. And when babies need help, you don’t stop to check species — you just act. So yes — the dog rescue has cats. And Laverne might just be one of our sweetest undercover missions yet. 🐱✨

Story
Sweet Gabby girl has a chronic cranky face, and a gravely meow and the cuddles of a kitten. She is about 8 years old, living with another adult cat and a gentle giant pitty boy she isn’t fond of. Previously lived with an elderly woman as an only pet and did well, but her person had to go to assisted living. Gabby is a precious girl and has tons of love and purrs to share! She just prefers to do it with another cat and no doggos.

Story
Nox is a 1-year-old gray cat who is 95% blind, but that doesn’t slow him down. He is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves people. His favorite thing is being held, and he’ll often ask to be picked up so he can cuddle with you. He loves pets, has an incredibly loud purr, and is happiest curled up next to his people. Nox greets us at the door and sleeps by our feet every night. Despite being mostly blind, Nox gets around the house easily, uses the litter box normally, finds his food and water, and loves to play. His blindness requires very little extra care, and he adapts well to familiar surroundings. Nox is neutered, vaccinated, healthy, litter-box trained, and indoor-only. Nox has a brother, Echo, who he has been with since birth. They are bonded and often cuddle together. If possible, we would love for them to stay together. We are only rehoming them because of financial circumstances and hope to find them a loving home.
