Story
MooMoo is a 6 month old female, long-haired calico. She showed up on our porch and looked like she was in rough condition. We tried to see if she had a home but found out that her previous owners stopped caring for her. She's been coming around since June and we recently gave her a room in the house since it's getting colder. We would love to keep her but my husky isn't a fan. She is very affectionate, loves to cuddle and sleep on your lap, she's playful, very curious, and uses her litter box. I think she would get along with other cats and dogs but I'm not 100% sure. We got her updated on all vaccines and she is now in good health. If you're interested but too far away, I'm willing to travel within reason. We bought her 2 cat towers, window hammock, cat box, a few toys, and a cat house that we will include for free. We will also include whatever litter and food is left.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact. Calypso is about 1 year old as of May 2025. She has spent a large portion of that time in confinement. That is not our usual protocol, but we were losing ground on her socialization when she came out of confinement. She was trapped as an older kitten with the intent to be socialized for adoption. Due to a series of unfortunate incidents, the window to return her back to her outside home closed, so we decided to continue efforts to socialize. Recently she has gained ground, and starts purring within a few minutes of being pet. She leans in for chin scratches, and starts to relax. She's nowhere near ready to be picked up, but she never tries the bite or scratch when pushed. She just wants to get away to her corner. We feel with time, and a small space with easily accessible spaces (no beds she can hide under) she will come around. It won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile is! She adores other cats, and a super friendly cat would likely help her get acclimated even more quickly. Apply for this beautiful girl now at safehousepets.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV.
