Mama Mia came to me this harsh winter with her bonded friend and her 3 newborn babies .. she is so special and never gave up on caring for her family .. she is brave loving and so unselfish she braved everything thing this past few months to have her love ones survive . She truly deserves a loving forever home for her beautiful soul to grow old . I’m currently caring for her but cannot keep her to much longer . Please open your heart to this beautiful soul and her little friend who I named Felix.. He is little afraid but with the right afford he will come around .. Felix is nice doesn’t scratch and you can pick him up , he is just little afraid, you can tell he never had a home .. but I been fostering them both for alittle over a month in my house.. they are a delight and get along great with my 2 cats .. Story
Kali is a beautiful calico with a gentle heart and a big love for comfort. She was abandoned by her mother as a young teenager and forced outdoors, even though she has always preferred the safety and coziness of indoor life. Adjusting to sanctuary/colony living has been hard for her — she’s sweet, friendly, and affectionate, but not a fan of the chaos that comes with a big group of cats. Kali loves cuddles, attention, and being near her people without being clingy. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and humans, and would absolutely flourish in a quiet indoor home where she can finally relax and feel secure.

Story
Meet Marble, a 4-month-old stray female calico with fur as beautiful as her name. She’s affectionate, gentle, comes when called, and loves human attention. Raised with care since birth, Marble has been fed only high-quality wet food (Weruva Chicken Frick 'A Zee) to give her the healthiest start. She must continue a wet food diet—dry|hard food diet mostly leads to obesity, IBD, and other health issues. This approach towards nutrition will keep our fur family members out of Animal Clinics and Hospitals. Applicants should be experienced cat owners prepared for the monthly cost of quality nutrition. With the right care, Marble will grow into a graceful, thriving adult and bring joy to her forever family. Looking for a loving, responsible adopter ready to provide lifelong wellness, play, and companionship. Marble deserves the best!

Story
Lady CC was a neighbor’s outdoor cat but they underfed her, never had her fixed and then moved away and left her to fend for herself. Lady CC adopted me and I took her in only to find out she was pregnant. She has had a rough time and appreciates all love and kindness. She doesn’t get along with my male cat but I don’t know if thats because shes such a good momma. Shes very sweet and now is playful; she originally didn’t know how to play with toys. I would truly love to keep her but she needs a forever home that she so desperately deserves. She is completely litter trained has never had an accident, very tidy. The $20 to make sure she goes to a good home.

Story
You don't often hear of a cat surviving after being hit by a car. Well, Spot did. Although, now she is paralyzed and has very little function in her back legs. (Sidenote! Email us at pets@michianapets.org to request an application. Spot is in a foster home!) We were not sure if Spot was going to be able to make it through her trauma. But each day, she was getting stronger, healing more and was proving to be the absolute sweetest and most loving girl. We were so grateful to be able to give her a second chance. Spot needed a foster home because the kennel-life was not a fit for her. Her foster family is amazing and they created a bag that goes around her waist so she can "walk" around without getting abrasions and wounds on her back legs. Spot was not remotely interested in a wheelchair; her little drag-bag allows her to be just as mobile and she is totally succeeding! Here is a note from her foster mom: "Spot is a one-year-old spayed bundle of love and curiosity. Spot is an incredibly affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or better yet, in your lap). She will happily curl up for hours, purring and chatting away with her soft, sweet meows. She truly loves to “talk.” Spot’s favorite toys are anything with feathers, and she’s wonderful with dogs of all sizes. Despite losing the use of her back legs, Spot hasn’t lost her joyful spirit or her zest for life. She has adapted beautifully and gets around with ease, always eager to explore, cuddle, and make friends. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, warmth, and a little chatter, Spot is your girl. She is full of curiosity, joy, and nonstop purrs. Please adopt the happiest little survivor. She is ready to roll right into your heart." -Spot's foster mom. Her adopter will need to be able to express her bladder but please don't let that deter you! Many of us had no idea how to until we were taught and now it is so easy! We can teach you, too! Of course, Spot is the perfect girl so she makes everything easy on us.

Story
Have you EVER seen a cuter face? Not only is Ruby's face simply precious but her personality is endearingly heart-melting. She chirps, she nuzzles, she purrs, she loves. Ruby will see you come into the breakroom (that's currently where she is living) and she comes right over and will solicit affection. If you have time to sit down and hang with her for a bit, you are best friends by the time you have to go on your way. She asks that you allow her to come to you and once she knows you're a friend, she pours out all of her affection and cuddles! So, please be patient with our girl. Ruby shines brightest when she is around calmness. We would love for her new home to be a quiet one where she can relax and feel safe. The more acclimated Ruby becomes, the more love she continues to share with us! She is about six-and-a-half years old and is spayed. Ruby is loving living in our breakroom so please ask to see her when you get to the shelter.

Story
Hello new friends, I'm Steve. As a dapper tuxedo boy, I like to think of myself as gentleman-like and polite. Which I am! I haven't shown off any crazy acrobatics yet to make the humans think that I'm some high-energy kitty. I seem to be more on the chill side; enjoying the finer things in life like chin scratchies and calming toys like pipe-cleaners. I am coming out of my shell more and more each day. The first day that I arrived, it was so scary to me. But then I learned that the humans have yummy snacks like Churus and it actually is nice and comforting being held like a baby by them. I've overheard them talking and telling each other how much they love me because I'm such a good boy. I can't tell you about my past but I can tell you that I hope my future is with you. Can you check back to see how I feel about other feline friends? I am about one and a half years old and I'm neutered. Love, Steve.
