Story
Sushi (male cat) needs a home. Unfortunately I need to rehome a 8-9 month old cat due to my severe asthma and allergies. When I adopted him as a tiny kitten I wasn't having flare ups however now that he has grown to his adult size im truly suffering with my health.. All his vaccinations are up to date and he's been neutered in September 2024. He gets along with dogs however it does take him about 3-4 days to warm up..From my experience with him he warms up to people and or kids within 30-40 min..I will provide documentation of his vaccinations and great health.. he must’ve came out the womb litter trained because since day one he knew what to do and has never missed.. He’s still very young not even a year old so he does like to play or hang out in his cat trees.. I will provide 2 cat trees, one of them is a cool liter box combo, his toys, his remaining food and 1 new bag of liter.. I just want him to go to a good home because he is a good and loving cat..

Story
Christian is as sweet as they come. He is at about 15 years old now and his eyes removed 5 years ago due to infection. It has never stopped him from exploring, climbing cat trees and laying with his other special needs siblings. He was originally part of a feral colony but was not feral. This is where he was caught to get seen for eye infections.

Story
Little Tiny Baby Princess (Princess) was part of a group of kittens rescued from a barn. Different litters and ages, all came skittish and feral. She was just about 8 weeks old at the time and the smallest of the bunch. She loves laying in your lap and getting snuggles.

Eve was named for Christmas Eve has she had come to us just before Christmas with horrible eye infections. She was rescued and pulled for a local high kill shelter before they could euthanize her. Shortly after she had to have her eyes removed, but as you can see nothing stops her. Eve gets on the counters alone, climbs a cat trees and sits talking pawing near you until you pet her.

Story
Polar was tossed into a rescue’s shelter where she did not take to well to a crowd. She lost 6 pounds when the rescue reached out to us for a more intimate rescue. She has since put on 6+ pounds, loves human interaction, however; she is more of a loner cat. She is vocal about her disagreements and uses that to move other fur babies along out of her way.

We LOVE Fauna. She is SUCH a good girl and seeing her, hanging out with her, being near her, is the highlight of our day. And! She has a sponsored adoption fee to an approved applicant! She is totally gorgeous but her personality outshines her natural beauty! She chirps to greet you when you walk in to see her. If you have time to sit with her, she'll climb on up and curl up for the closest snuggles on your chest. Fauna will soak up and solicit every ounce of attention and affection that she can...clearly! Her only request: to be the only furbaby in your home. That is it! She's done great with respectful kiddos and is just waiting for her very own family. She is about four years old and is spayed💗

Story
Hi new friends! I'm Celeste! I'm a little younger than around three years old and I'm spayed. I spent time in a foster home raising my babies, who have all been adopted, and my foster mom would tell you that I was so gentle, kind, calm, and trusting immediately. My human friends at the shelter will tell you the same thing. I'm a complete lovebug. I love food. So much. Treats. Churus. Catnip. Anything. You have my undivided attention if you have food! I also like to play with toys on strings. Exploring is another one of my fave things to do. I'm an active, on-the-go girl so if you have lots of windows for me to stare out, I really think that I would enjoy watching all the fun sights during the day. Do you have kiddos who want a fun fursister?! Pick me! I think we would have so much fun together. I'd prefer to have all of your love, affection, and attention focused on me so could I please be the only furbaby in the home? My personality is large enough to fill the whole house! And oh yeah! Please ask to see me when you get to MHS. Love, Celeste.

Story
If lil' kitten Gelato is making biscuits with his paws, he is asking to be petted all the time. There isn't a sweeter kitten than Gelato. Since he is in a foster home, we know SO much about him! Here is what his foster mom wants you to know about him: "Our Gelato, what a gem. I open the door and he gets so excited. He starts chittering, does his adorable head tilt and runs over for a proper greeting. His biscuit-ing is unparallele. He's acquired the most adorable squeaky meow, and he can't get enough wiggly-worm playtime. I smile, laugh, and relax with him. He's a joy to foster." -Lisa, Gelato's foster mom. Since Gelato is FeLV+, he can be adopted into a home with other kitty friends who are already also FeLV+ or be the only kitty. He also has done great with cat-friendly dogs! To adopt Gelato, please call email us at pets@michianapets.org and we can email you an application. He is about 6½-months-old and is neutered
