Story
Meet Luna — A Playful, Social Girl With a Big Heart and a Big Personality Luna is an active, affectionate, and wonderfully expressive cat who brings energy and charm into every room she enters. She’s social with strangers, curious about new people, and loves being part of the daily rhythm of a home. When she trusts you, she becomes a deeply loving companion — greeting you at the door with excited meows, following you from room to room, and curling up on your lap for cozy moments. Personality & Temperament Luna is: Very social with new people Affectionate once she trusts you Playful, energetic, and full of life A lap cat with her chosen person Vocal and expressive — she loves to “talk” to you She does not enjoy being picked up or carried and will communicate her boundaries clearly. She’s a cat who appreciates respect, predictability, and a person who understands feline body language. Play Style & Activity Level Luna is a highenergy, playful cat who thrives with daily engagement. She loves: Chew toys Wand toys she can chase and “hunt” Interactive play sessions Attention and affection from her person She’s the type of cat who enjoys being involved — she’ll follow you around, supervise your tasks, and stay close by throughout the day. Behavior Notes & Progress Luna used to become overstimulated easily during petting and would give small warning bites to ask for space. Over the past 2–3 months, she has made significant progress, with these moments decreasing to just a few times a week. Her bites have always been minor and never required medical care. She needs: A patient adopter who understands cat boundaries Predictable routines Time to build trust Respect for her signals during petting Once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate — lounging beside you, sitting on your lap, and seeking out gentle pets. Other Animals Dogs: Luna previously lived with a dog and can adjust well with slow introductions. Cats: Her behavior with other cats is unknown, so any introductions should be gradual and structured. Children Not suitable for children under 6                               Okay with teenagers who understand cat behavior and boundaries Food & Preferences Luna is delightfully particular: Only loves chicken wet food — one can twice a day                  Litter trained, though she may have a few accidents while adjusting to a new home Ideal Home Luna will thrive in a home with: A predictable schedule Consistent days off or time at home An adopter who enjoys interactive play Someone patient, catsavvy, and respectful of boundaries Older kids, teens, or adults only She is okay with a dog, may or may not enjoy another cat, and will flourish with someone who appreciates her mix of independence, affection, and playful spirit. Why You’ll Love Luna Luna is a cat who bonds deeply. She’s expressive, funny, affectionate, and full of personality. She greets you at the door, shadows you throughout the day, and becomes a loyal companion once she feels safe. She needs someone who understands her, respects her boundaries, and enjoys an active, engaging cat — and in return, she offers love, companionship, and endless charm.   The suggested adoption donation for __Luna___ is $__85_, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Story
Chips & Queso are a bonded pair, both approximately 3 years old (born August 2023).  They're both dog and cat friendly.  They also get along with older kids (age 6+), but the younger kids are scary for them.  They might be a little shy around new people at first, but will warm up. They currently live with younger kids and seem scared.  Chips & Queso needs a quiet home where they'll get lots of love and attention.  Chips likes to be left alone sometimes, but will let you know when she wants attention.  Queso will soak up all the attention she can get! This is Queso.  They would love for you to consider adopting them.  If you're looking for two cats that are litter box trained and past the kitten stage, maybe this is the pair for you!!!  Who doesn't need a little Chips & Queso in their life?!   The suggested adoption donation for both Chips & Queso is $145, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Story
I got her from Facebook when she was being rehomed due to adjustment issues after moving to a bigger home with more kids and a large dog. She was peeing outside the litter box then. I got her to my small studio and she has peed maybe 3 times initially but has since not done that. She adjusted well to my apartment. She is 4 years old and 9 pounds. The issue is that when I got her, I had some time off. She is VERY energetic and highly social for a 4 year old cat. She wants constant human interaction and play. I could do that when I was off but now I have to work 12h shifts for 12 days straight with 2d off. She isn’t adjusting to that well - appears distressed and anxious when I come back. I only get to spend 2-3 hours in a day with her. She looks like she’ll do well with another cat but I don’t have space or the money for 2 cats. She shows love by licking a lot and can bite when she gets overstimulated.
